1) "Turn the other cheek" doesn't mean what you think it means. A backhanded slap is dismissive. A palm slap is an acknowledgement. Jesus is saying that you shouldn't get revenge for being struck, but you should make it clear to the person who struck you (and anyone witnessing) that the person who struck you is inferior to you.
2) Jesus dealt with a lot of soldiers and there's no record of him ever telling a single one of them to quit their job.
3) If you ox falls into a ditch on the Sabbath, would you not pull it out? The Pharisees said no, you would face eternal punishment for doing so. Jesus acknowledged that the world is imperfect and sometimes you have to do what you have to do.
