I am seeing some normies drift further left and other normies drift further right. It seems like leftist media is collapsing, so that is good, but it also seems like SJWs still have power over businesses, colleges, and media.

Definitely this. Which means a societal struggle. Social cohesion is reaching all time low. People are finding it harder to find common cause. This is between regular white folk too, not just the vast differences between minorities.
A while ago the difference was fiscal,christian republican types and semi-christian, spread the wealth democrat types. (I say semi-christian in that they are moreso cultural christian). But now the extremes are highlighted so much. You're not just left or right, the left see's Nazis and the right see's Commies.
