Being a NEET is the OPTIMAL situation if you are under 35. You have unlimited time to create your future and your dream job. Leave you past behind and work on yourself. You have the most valuable thing in the world, TIME. Use it wisely.
Being a NEET is an adaptative response to an outdated system
>Use it wisely
>Jerks off all day to anime tiddies
nah, you're just lazy
Lazy for what? Sell car insurance... what a great future.
>finally get a job and on way to having an acceptable life
>society ends like a year later
wait what was the fucking point
Neetbux and keep applying to good jobs till you get one.
I don't even do that. I have a job. If I lose it though for some BS reason I will go straight to neetbux though.
I also stay in my room and avoid my parents due to embarassment
The point of this post if to create you own job with you time by working for yourself, on what you would like to do for you life, and not for someone else thinking that getting a stupid meaningless job is the right and only alternative.
So, what happens the day you turn 36? Do you think the government just hands you a check for all the equity and retirement money your peers have been building while you watched chinese cartoons for two decades?
I don't know what happens if you do that, I'm clearly no talking to those people.
But selling you time for money isn't better than just using your time for yourself. I understand if you must do it, tho.
This. NEETs always externalize blame. Nothing is ever their own fault.
Most people do that, people with jobs.
Shut up faggot. Am neet af, except im 21, go to school. I live with gf that has full time job and goes to school too. my parents just pay my rent and shit so all i do is school two times a week, lift, play vidya and smoke weed. feels good af. but honestly it isnt enough. wish i had actual shit to do in life. fuck a job i worked that shit in high school. but idk what to do, i feel incomplete. plus i feel like shit that my woman works hard as fuck and i just sit around..
>feel bad you don’t work
>aren’t willing to work
Im willing to work, but fuck retail. it makes me depressed. plus i go hard af when i do go to school and i have ass loads of homework and studying that i do when im not smoking and playing vidya. Ima a biochemistry major with Philosophy minor and biology minor. So i kinda feel like my grades would slip if i did get a job? but idk, i should prolly get one.
>So, what happens the day you turn 36?
You become a Christian.
>gf works full time AND goes to school
>parents pay for your rent and whatever else you need
>you go to school a whole TWO TIMES a week while smoking weed/playing video games
you sound like a spoiled faggot
You sound jealous. Faggot i spend literally all day at school on t/th. 6am-8pm
She's gonna leave you eventually. What I'm talking about is actually using your time to find out what would you like to do in the future and work on that for yourself. if you don't know it's because you are to young and you need to work on yourself first. Then you can start planing your future and working on create your dream job, possibly a brad based on that thing you are passionate about.
I am a NEET because I failed school.
I don't know what to do.
You should try again, that happened to me and after a while I decided to try it again.
Be good at something, learn how to sell that thing you are good at. It might take 10 years to be really good at something to create a brand around it, but the alternative is to fail. It's 100% better to use your NEET time to create your future based on YOU than to be living thinking you need a job or some shit like that.
lul no she wont. and if she did it would be good for me in some sense. shes crazy af and super jealous, doesnt like me going out of house and shit so in a way she contributes to it. Im not a fat fuck, am decent 7/10 and lift a lot in my free time.
And i am working on my future, i go to school 6am-8pm two days a week and in my off time i do study my own shit. could i better my life even more? Yes. would i make any difference in my lifestyle? No. id still come home from work and do the same shit. only difference is i would probably drop my GPA and i wouldnt be using as much of my parents money(which they have NO shortage of)
If you are OK you don't need any NEET thread then.
I cant come to talk though? Also nobody is okay, you can always better yourself lmao. Being "okay" is subjective.
my b
I used to be a neet but then I married a grill and we both inherited moneys enough to never have to work.
Then you are still a NEET.
>Spend all night rationalizing being a lazy fat loser.
If you were such a winner you wouldn't be here
I work IT maintenance at a county hospital. I have a lot of free time on the books to read Sup Forums.
>tfw already 35
>tfw no GED
>tfw working at Walmart for 13 years
>tfw forced to work 5-7 hours for free every week in order to keep my job
I wish I had the seemingly infinite free time you NEETs seem to have. It's a luxury that I'm sure I'll know once I hit the cold concrete floor for when my already mild chest pains become too much.
Those NEETs are probably getting more money than you are.
Don't worry, your job will be eliminated due to machine learning automation within the next five to ten years.
Probably. I need at least $1600 a month because I got bills to pay.
I hope not. I have no one to rely on in life and too old to start from the absolute bottom as I will have to face a plethora of age bias/discrimination.
>Using NEET time to create a dream job
I don't think you understand the mind of a NEET, its about doing everything you can to NOT work in any respect. Spending you time on what you what you want matters more than anything, I agree with that sentiment
I thought NEET meant not to work or study as in the mainstream terms of working and studying, collage, 9-5 job, etc. I'm a NEET and I do work on my brand, my self education and my future, I don't make any money yet, but I will eventually. Luckily my mother buys me food, and thats it. I almost don't spend any money at all, I don't do weed anymore, no alcohol, no sugar, no nightclub, no party, no eating out, no car, no new cloth, all thing one has to sacrifice for an ideal future.
I'm sorry people have to slave themselves to make a living, but that type of work is already outdated, if you family can afford to buy you food and let you live in the family house, you should use that free money (TIME) to chase your "dream", if you don't have a dream then find it, and if you are too depressed or unmotivated, fix yourself. If your parents don't understand that, you should make them understand, if they don't care, then yes, you need to go find a job and leave that shit family you have. If your family is too poor, then I'm also sorry. I understand being a NEET is a luxury you can exploit. Wasting that valuable NEET TIME is a very big mistake, that's my whole point.
NEETs that become successful are an exception rather than the rule. The problems that prevent them from becoming normal, working people would act as the same barrier to their dreams.
i'm going to become a neet once Puerto Rico recovers from hurricane Maria.
they bout to take mah job
NEETs are a totally new thing in the history of human kind, so most NEETs are still young, and I assure you more will come, with less jobs available every day, and the old system slowly fading away, people will have to just stay at home and think how to create a living for themselves instead of fishing for a diminishing boring outdated job.
Also those barriers created by ignorant parents and an oppressive system are fixable over time.
No I am a white male landowner now.
Don't know about you guys but we're starting to get 3 generation NEET families who are working on the next gen.
The thing is unsuccessful NEETs will most probably not have any kids.
