Tax the Rich and pay for welfare. Not for humanitarian reasons but economic reasons. Reason is the wealthy horde their money, save it, and invest it. Meanwhile people on weflare spend 99% of what they get. So by taking from the rich, and giving it to the poor who spend it you are almost forcing the rich to spend rather than invest aka drive demand.
and specifically not corporate weflare
Aaron Nelson
Savings turns today's resources into tomorrow's resources. Consumption turns yesterday's resources into today's brief hedonism. Savings, not consumpion, is the force of progress in society.
Gavin Evans
>Meanwhile people on weflare spend 99% of what they get
yeah they are consumption hungry idiots spending other people's money/using other people's labour to lavishly waste it as soon as they get the chance
FUCK THEM. For sure it would be good if the money stays in the economy. Welfare leeches though, are the worst way to do this and it is unfair to everyone doing tough jobs.
Evan Peterson
But without consumption where is the demand to produse? Producers would see no one is buying and halt production
Ian Cruz
>nigger doesn't realize that for every dollar of EBT there's more than a dollar of economic activity returned
Adam Reyes
prices come down demand side economics is a scam to create inflation so banks can continue to give out shitty loans
Austin Gray
"economic activity returned"
nice way of forcing the people to work more for the same payoff
Nathan Morris
>lets pay people to dig holes then fill them in think of all of the economic activity it will create
Alexander Perry
>literally broken window tier argument Exactly where do you think money comes from
Jack Butler
>using other people's labour to lavishly waste it not sure if serious.
Nicholas Carter
>paying people to consume Why?
Christopher Peterson
because people should be able to live? maybe we shouldnt be horrible people?
Jack Taylor
Jews make it out of thin air at the fed
Justin Brown
>implying that investing isn't far better for the economy than spending heh kiddo try reading an economics book
Justin Bennett
Why not just let prices come down?
Jaxon Price
>muh keynesianism
Go fuck yourself with a rake you fucking nigger.
Christopher Parker
You realize that there is no such thing as to "horde" money, right?
Money that is "horded" is put in the bank, or into corporate bonds or whatnot, and hence given to people who spend it, on loans or business.
If anything, poor people would be "hordeing" money in their mattress. Rich people don't "horde" money in their mattress.
Lincoln Moore
hasnt worked. prices are already artificially low do to production subsidies, yet shits still to expensive.
Jace Gomez
Social safety net is good
Social safety net with massive nonwhite immigration is subsidizing your demographic replacements
Dominic Ward
>Make $10, pay $2 instead of $3 this year, corporate welfare >make $0, get $3, welfare
I used small numbers so it didn't hurt your brain
Nicholas Anderson
Welfare is keeping prices artificially high Nobody starved to death durring the depression
Cooper Cruz
Didn't read. Your criminal attitude does not interest me at all. If you attempt to steal from me, I'll kill you.
Jose Howard
>because people should be able to live? maybe we shouldnt be horrible people? HAHAHAHAHA.
AHAHAHAHAHA
Jaxon Cook
Social safety net is what killed the family
James Harris
Yeah, it sure did wonders for the space program.
Welfare killed it.
"We" gained far more from said program than stupid niggers that can work but don't getting gibs.
Cooper Hughes
...
Juan Allen
>Welfare is keeping prices artificially high how? its not dropping supply if anything it should increase supply which would drop prces.. its not raising demand as the demand to survive existed since people have been alive.
Connor Parker
>Demand for junk food, grape soda, cigarettes, cigarillos, rims, etc Sounds like a great economy to me! I love welfare now!
Charles Bennett
No it's not, letting Jews and marxists write school curriculums and control your information and entertainment industry is what destroyed the family.
Jaxon Fisher
Why do I care about poor people giving money to McDonalds again? How does this support any of my interests? I'm confused.
Ian Ramirez
except it ends up blowing up on middle class' ass, since rich can evade paying taxes altogether
Elijah Perez
labor prices will come down also debt will decrease
Ayden Allen
You do realize that investement just means productive welfare right? Rich dude gives his money to an investment group. Investment group either loans the money to an entrepreneur or buys shares in a company's profits. The entrepreneur or business than creates an organization structure that gives people money in exchange for contributung to a product or service. That product or service is then bought, returning the money back to the inestors via profit. The added benefits of this systen is that what people buy tells companies what to make next. And people buy what they want in order to make their lives better. And since they have chosen for themselves, there is no need for force. This means too that each person is responsible for what they get in life. You can choose to buy things in a way that allows you to make more money, or you can choose something else. It's welfare, but better. Why u no lik?
Noah Martin
labor prices are already extremely low. how does debt come down from people having less money? stop just saying random things will magically happen for no reason.
Carter Garcia
>labor prices are already extremely low. Only when compared to current prices >how does debt come down from people having less money? liquidation of over leveraged businesses
Hudson Myers
>hoard their money >invest it You didn't think this through, did you?
Logan Green
Neither earned it. No welfare. No winners or losers. Stand on your own two feet or beg for charity on your merits.
This "they spend their money" shit is gay as fuck and low iq.
Rich ppl spend a shitload of money. Money they don't spend is circulated int he economy as capital.
Gayfags need to realize ppl who can barely fry fries at mcdonalds are fucking usless if they are the head of a household with two kids and a spouse. They shouldn't have the kids. They shouldn't have the spouse.
Fuck off. My money is my money.
Gavin Sanders
It's not one or the other you mongoloid. If someone doesn't maintain savings they can't survive shocks to their own individual system/economy.
Poorfags who get given money don't value it as much as some poorfag who earns it. Less likely to by a pack of swishers and doritos for dinner. Guy who earns it will stretch it... not blow it because they know they get more later w/o doing shit.
Justin Jones
>labor prices are low compared to current prices of goods so we need to lower the price of labor. uh, what?
Carter Sullivan
That's a absolute lie.
It ignores the cost of getting that dollar into the coffers. That bullshit stat is based off of "money spent by government." You know what's more efficient? Not taking it into the government to begin with.
Jesus christ I hate that bullshit stat. Completely ignores the entire picture... just assumes government taking the money and spending it is the default.
Josiah King
No we need to lower demand from welfare
Luke Allen
getting rid of welfare does nothing to lower demand for goods needed to live. the people will still be alive and need that shit.
Luis Baker
Prices came down in the depression
Jaxson Cooper
I wonder why
Logan Wilson
so your goal is depression era standards of living? i think i'll pass on your thoughts.
Luke Gray
The depression would have naturally fixed itself if we would have allowed all of the bad debt to go away
Dominic Wilson
You're a fucking idiot.
That extra money that the wealthy have is called 'Capital'. When they invest that capital in a business, the business expands it's product line, or builds another plant in a different location, or expands into another market region. That is how an economy grows, on it's capital. That's why it's called Capitalism fuck face.
Isaac Barnes
and how do we let bad debt go away? just wave a wand?
Julian Richardson
you're an idiot
People who get free money will blow it on alcohol and stuff, guy who earns money will save it. That's why welfare is better for the economy than jobs
Gavin Flores
Exactly! Rich people INVEST their money which is why we either need to place anti-usury laws to ban them from doing so or tax and spend
Logan Perez
sure
Macdonalds will create job
>he doesn't realize people are employed to produce those things Sure bud
Joseph Reyes
No one will have money to buy from the businesses if the wealthy hold the vast majority of it. You MORON.
Oliver Martin
If they expand their business they need MORE LABOR asswipe. That creates a demand for workers raising everyones worth to employers.
You fucking socialist douchbags don't understand the first thing about economics so spare us your jr. high mentality fixes for the world douche.
Jordan Price
Or, you can just require that the rich spend their money, instead of stealing it from them.
Parker Collins
You are so economically illiterate it's disgusting. Their businesses will FAIL since there won't be enough consumer spending. The amount invested into the economy from investments is NOT ENOUGH to make the investments worth while.
So mandatory spending laws?
Christian Ward
That's not how it works, user. "The rich" generally stash their money in tax havens. Our corporate taxes are so high that only small business pays them because the big companies can also stash their money overseas.
Kill bad trade deals. Add tariffs to imports, especially American companies that manufacture in shitholes and move jobs. Keep people employed and off of welfare. The sick can get medicare and social security. The disabled can get disability. The rest work. There is no other way. This tax the "rich" and "tax the corporations" idea just makes people and companies leave the country.
Tyler Perez
Or just raise corporate tax rate to 90 and ban them from leaving.
Jace Parker
Yes, but that multiplier work the other way, as well. Stealing money from someone gives them less to spend, so the multiples of economic activity their spending would have produced negates the amount of extra spending by the thieves. Nothing extra is produced, it is just taken from one person, and given to another. Helping the economy is a lie, it soesn't help the economy, and helping the economy isn't really the goal. The goal is to steal from producers, and give to the parasites. The parasites, of course, enthusiastically support the theft.
Benjamin Scott
Yes, the mandatory spending would create a much greater demand for goods of all kinds, and create jobs for the poor, so they could actually EARN their keep.
Xavier Moore
>their money, save it, and invest it Refutation of shitty idea given in second sentence. Congrats idiot.
Landon Ramirez
Then they'll just close. And the government, of course, will support EVERYONE by printing money.
Parker Hall
It’s called inflation.
Blake Scott
How does giving it to people on welfare not create jobs, people on welfare buy cigerettes and stuff which creates jobs
The fact that the rich save their money and invest it is why we shouldn't allow them to become rich in the first place RETARD
they won't close they still want money
Jacob Mitchell
liquidation
Dominic Johnson
Dont give it directly back to the poor, help the poor help themselves. Andrew Carnegie had the right idea, that almsgiving does not help anyone but those who profit from it (which is probably the almsgivees kek).
