I have a friend who is in a High position at Space X. Elon is a legitimate fucking genius who works harder and longer than ANYONE in any of his companies. So much so it’s bizarre. The man literally learned rocket science on his own and has peer level conversations with people with PHDs in astrophysics. Yeah he is incredibly off in his timeline promising but that’s just because he expects others will work like him. That’s the biggest complaint from employees. That he expects everyone to be like him. Everyone laughed when he said reusable rockets. Everyone. Who’s laughing now?

Tesla's Q3 was fucking awful. A few more quarters and the company will have liquidity problems at the rate its burning through cash. That's actually what really happens. A bad employee wont just not do his job, but will also mess up doing his job meaning that other people have to burn their time fixing the fuck up.Therefore, logically it's better for the company as a whole to fire bad employees rather then letting them linger on and slow down overall productivity.
