Wait, what? The exchanges trade against the traders? I assumed that buying/selling on the exchanges is like on proper exchanges, where you trade against real people. So it's like ForEx scams? Then it's clear why the price is rising, the exchanges are interested in that, as they take in hard cash when selling BTC, and keep it, giving only some of it back to the few people selling BTC.
