Fuck you, you ugly sack of shit.
o-oh
Yes
it was full spectrum until it died in the 80s and was reborn in the 90s as almost purely leftist, but yes, there's always been leftist/commie/homo bands in the scene, Dead Kennedys etc.
The misfits are all conservatives and the only punk band that aren't faggots. Listen to Glenn and Graves and fuck everyone else in that gay genre
And listen to No Trend
There were plenty of conservative/right wing punk bands back when punk was a real thing, but it died out in the late eighties.
In the nineties, it was recreated by record labels trying to capitalize on that nostalgia thing, but spun it with left wing/commie bullshit.
Check out oldschool stuff like FEAR, Ramones, Minor Threat, Cro-Mags etc. They weren't pure leftist garbage like today's "punk."
Mostly, yes
Not necessarily. Oldfag dirty punker here. AMA.
Look up RAC (Rock Against Communism)
Punk used to be anti establishment which for a long time meant they were liberal. Now the establishment IS liberal so punk is now just towing the party line. I can't wait until it goes anti establishment again so it's more conservative.
>t. NOFX used to be my favorite band
There are some redpills to be found in punk. Even though they are sort of leftists, Dead Kennedys were spot on with their disdain for communism. Minor Threat was mocking the idea of white privilege decades ago, although Ian cucked out and denied it.
Minor Threat is serious AIDS tier DC Hardcore. FEAR and (((Ramones))) are solid. Cro-Mags have some good hardcore stuff but they are NYC Hardcore - not punk. Two totally different scenes that would frequently fight each other.
Ben Weasel Did Nothing Wrong
Alotta the ones I used to listen to are jews. Reagan youth adolescents circle Jenks
Agression seemed based same with germs but hard to tell
There was a fairly conservative punk movement based in Memphis and Nashville in the mid to late 90's. The Oblivians were probably the best band to come out of it, but the movement only gained traction in the rural South, Appalachia and Japan.

I have a hardcore bias. I feel like hardcore carried the flag a while after "punk," but you are right. Put these people in a room together and they'd kill each other.
>Ian cucked out
He is a no shit sucker of cock. Minor Threat was always an upper NW DC white boy band. Ian had about as privileged a life as you could imagine. Discord is a bunch of larping faggits playing at working class. They should have just become lawyers like their parents.
Yes.
Yea - but if a lot of those bands were around today, it could be argued they wouldn't be left wing. Left wing was rebellious then, and they're mostly just edge lords. Also, many of their songs are far from politically correct.
Was that summer of 87? If yes was there
no
I play in the DC music scene. Punk/ska/rock/most metal are all leftists.
Does it get better than Negative Approach's 7"?
Landser für immer
Original punk rockers tend to be left wing. Sylvain Sylvain and Richard Hell love Obama. Joey Ramone and Marky were and are big Democrats. But Punk did have some right winger/working class guys. Dee Dee and Johnny Ramone were right wing. Johnny Rotten has recently supported Brexit and Trump. Homophobia was present in original punk. Johnny thunders said faggot in his song London Boys. Iggy Pop supported Reagan. I'm a big Punk fan
Not especially into punk but I like the Oblivians. I didn't know they had conservative leanings, thats cool.
NOFX still is one of my fav bands
Not much but Age of Quarrel demo is breddy gud too
Damn, I was enjoying that until the Hitler part.
Even if they are being leftists faggots now, maybe their music transcends even their own political views
youtube.com
this is better
American punk is not inherantly political but british punk always was. Compare the misfits and dr know with crass and oi polloi
I went to most of them. Could have been 87. Who did you roll with?
Agree. While a lot of mainstream punk is leftist, much of it is just a joke, ironically anti-establishment, or even apolitical. In the underground what is considered Leftist generally is just lyrics about existential crisis, and lots of stuff critical of Leftism as well.
Here's one example talking about the hypocrisy of vegan punks:
youtube.com
I'd say edge/NYHC, oi/streetpunk, grindcore, and power violence are where you see more Rightist thinking. Crust, pop-punk, and anarcho-punk obviously tend towards Leftism.
Here's an obvious one turning environmentalism into anti-immigration:
youtube.com
In some circles people refuse to listen to anything with questionable lyrics, and may give you shit for it. While most are just apolitical and enjoy the subversive nature of the lyrics. Something like this may be more subversive than what Leftists come up with:
youtube.com
Our prime minister sucks dogshit through his nose
His ex-wife gets brown showers from Mick Jagger
The only reason we live in fucking igloos
Is our government makes a living licking shit holes
>t. Pizzagate shill
Also, one of my favourites:
youtube.com
>I play in the DC music scene
Play or played? DC hasn't had a music scene in 20 years. Much less a punk or ska scene.
youtube.com
this song sure ain't
it probably started out real and redpilled, and then was subverted, just like most things.
>NOFX still is one of my fav bands
t. commie.
I don't know if you all consider Greem Day to be punk, but I went to one of their concerts. They are leftists for sure.
happy I punched Jello Biafra in the face when I had the chance
napalm death played a show in oakland and they covered nazi punks fuck off and he came out as a 'guest' to sing the song and was two feet from my face screaming like a faggot and punched him in the mouth
>'that was fucking punk!'
Kick ass song dude.
From NJ was there with a friends band.
Good one that makes me think of Antifa faggots, Part time punks - television personalities
youtube.com
Blink for me.
Love those degenerate fucks.

Someone's mad.
Don't think they were ever trying to be working class. They were just kids, and their post-hardcore stuff is still amazing.
youtu.be
But to get you really ripped, here's a hardcore fag band that is probably better than anything you've ever heard, they make cro-mags sound like pussies:
youtu.be
even though I hate Jew York, they produced some awesome NYHC. Cro-Mags best wishes album, Pressure Release, Antidote, Sheer Terror etc. Even the youth crew stuff wasn't bad
>Green Day
Pop music, with a punkie beat you can bug out to. Green Day is a great way to find out who the posers are.
Which band?
Rest in Peices is underrated as fuck as far as NY bands go
Dare you to look up his wife as well, for extra salt.
YOT
>Blink 182
>punk
God dammit do I hate millennials. All of these acts are complete corporate pop music garbage. They are not punk. You missed it kid. Try to DIY your own music.
>their post-hardcore stuff is still amazing
>flag
Checks out.
It's a plebian genre
Far better. The meme that punk died in the 80s is for retards. Most of the best albums came out in the 90s and 2000s. Even the stuff coming out now is generally superior.
Best album ever:
youtube.com
southern punk eventually evolved into Hellbilly which is imho far superior
youtube.com
I would bite off your first born son's foreskin myself if that story were true, sir
My Rage fucking rips. There's a lot of unheard and forgotten bands from that city. Used to have an annoyingly extensive list of this stuff.
Skrewdriver.
Yes and it's shit, thankfully it's irrelevant
The Virus is a decent punk band leftists, but anti establishment leftist at least
always was
Some are left, some are right, some are apolitical.
if only
>Youth of Today
That's cool and all, but I just didn't roll with the straight edge kids.
Alone in a Crowd is another
You forgot Good Charlotte
>is punk a genre
no
>is punk rock a genre
yes, it's run by california music industry jews who pay poor people to act angry toward anyone but the actual villains
Punk being overwhelmingly leftist is one reason why it's so boring and stagnant today. There's not really anything bold or exciting about a genre that now feeds you the same exact politics you get from your teachers, from the MSM, from mainstream comedians, from late night talk shows, from spineless politicians, and from every other aspect of "proper" society.
It is even worse now they suck the corporate cock and the political one as well. Anything to make sure the teenybobers remember they still exist i guess.
Yeah they're garbage pop punk I know.
I do like other punk like rancid, vandals, and guttermouth.
80's punk is the true punk
Michale Graves is a conservative
It absolutely is... and most of the political messages therein are pretty fucking cringey. Even classic songs?
DO THEY OWE US A LIVING?
Course they fucking DON'T, you goddamn NEET, get a job
>Good Charlotte
What? You guys are just trying to bait me at this point.
Oi! and HC all the way
I'm surprised no one has mentioned Agnostic Front yet.
Yes, the 'fits, The Ramones, GG Allin and the Angry Samoans all didn't give a shit about offending people.
>rancid
>guttermouth
Op Ivy maybe, there's no way you're a millennial with such shit taste.
Fuck yes man. III rules and that is by far his best album. The two superjoint albums he's on also rule
bands like choking victim, leftover crack, etc, were big during clinton years and that's how you know they weren't shills. they didn't get to the point of naming the jew but mediocre generica called out the world bank and the IMF, which is 100x more redpilled than you'll get from """conservative""" bands . they probably hate trump more than they hate obama but they definitely hated clinton and bush
Cherrypicking. Peter and the Test Tube Babies
youtube.com
Heresy
youtu.be
1989, think that makes me a millennial.
This album essentially is what got me into NYHC, that and the Cro-Mags
I mean metal has nsbm and more artists and people are gravitating towards metal. I do not know why the pussy leftist bullshit is popular among punk.
Read the lyrics to dead Kennedy's
"Nazi Punks Fuck Off" tell me thr message couldn't be any more suited towards antifa today?
Punk ain't no religious cult
Punk means thinking for yourself
You ain't hardcore cos you spike your hair
When a jock still lives inside your head
Nazi punks
Nazi punks
Nazi punks-Fuck Off!
Nazi punks
Nazi punks
Nazi punks-Fuck Off!
If you've come to fight, get outa here
You ain't no better than the bouncers
We ain't trying to be police
When you ape the cops it ain't anarchy
[Repeat chorus]
Ten guys jump one, what a man
You fight each other, the police state wins
Stab your backs when you trash our halls
Trash a bank if you've got real balls
You still think swastikas look cool
The real nazis run your schools
They're coaches, businessmen and cops
In a real fourth reich you'll be the first to go
[Repeat chorus]
You'll be the first to go
You'll be the first to go
You'll be the first to go
Unless you think
Suprised our leaf freind didn’t mention the Dayglo Abortions. Those guys were Sup Forums teir and awesome
>American
>objectively wrong
checks out
>boring and stagnant today
How about nonexistent. There is no DIY music scene. Hasn't been one in 20 years. All of the newfags were helicopter parented into never actually doing anything. There is no street scene because kids are no longer allowed to play outside. This is why hip hop has the only thing going with any energy.
You retarded? There are a HUGE number of RAC bands, and they are infinitely more popular than nsbm.
Is he still on smack?
The irony is that Holiday in Cambodia is the song that most people know them for and leftists sing, but it describes all of them perfectly. Jello really cucks out when he performs it now days and doesn't sing half the lyrics.
...
GG Allin never considered himself Punk. He thought himself more Rock N Roll.
Surprised no one has posted this yet
youtube.com
even though skinheads fucking suck, they did make some killer music
Violent Storm, Skullhead, Brutal Attack, Bound for Glory, Centurion
