I can't buy from Papa John's anymore. I had one large pepperoni delivered a few months ago. it came 2 and a half hours later, which is fine, but it was cold and congealed. It wasn't good. I drove to the store the next morning and walked in to tell them the pizza was bad, says why not call last night, say delivery driver didn't deliver until 11:45pm. He says what do you want me to do about it. Walk out. File corporate complaint against dickhead manager. Get my money back. Refuse to eat there.

I live just north of NYC and pizza chains are basically Nonexistent. I've never had the opportunity to eat Papa John's, but other chain Pizza I've tried hasn't impressed me comparatively.

They could be the best of chain pizza for all I know, but if they won't move into southern NY I assume it's because real pizza is too competitive.

I've also worked at Papa John's and they have a much higher standard of cleanliness / employees.
