Posting fliers in public spaces isn't a crime. The FBI is not going to track people down and get warrants to seize their printers.

Maybe in America, but I'm pretty sure hatespeech is a serious crime in Europe.

Printer here, yes, every modern printer prints an almost invisible "signature" on every page you print. And every time you make a photocopy it is also tagged, and when you scan something it is digitally marked

Buy a second hand printer with cash and an anonymous email.

stencil set and marker

Pro tip: Network-enabled printers "phone home" to the manufacturer with serial number. You think you're safe because it's USB-only and not networked? Printer drivers installed on your computer phone home with the serial number!

Why have I never heard of this?
next yiu gonna tell me the holocaust never happened

>hatespeech

What hatespeech?

>/leftypol/ getting desperate

it's not illegal to put up flyers that say "it's okay to be white"

Not for long with Ivanka and Jared in charge.

kindly take your retardation somewhere else

Existing while White is a serious crime in Europe.

Can the firmware of any printers be changed so that the steganography doesn't print?
Is this just an american thing? What if you get some cheap chinkshit printer?

no one is going to go to jail for petty vandalism or littering charges

Nice try leftypol

>Print from craigslist laptop on a coffee shop wifi outside on a burner phone to unsecured printers

Checkmate, forensicsfags.

How do we get around this while still using a printer?

Jail for what exactly?

Yep. I've been trying to mention this to leafs, but at the same time it's an innocent message.
I've not heard of it yet, but this would not surprise me.

Find a really old printer that still works. Its not like we need fancy modern tech. Hell, a dot-matrix would suffice.

So that's why my faggy printer refuses to print black and white when the yellow ink is out.

eff.org/pages/list-printers-which-do-or-do-not-display-tracking-dots
it effects color laser printers mostly. probably a way for the feds to track and prevent counterfeit money.

>Install driver in VM
>Print
>Revert VM
>Reconnect to home network
>HP master plan thwarted

Like the other guy said. You need a really old one. Like pre 1990s at least. Very difficult in this day.

Correct, the signature is printed in a very, very light yellow. It's also why yellow ink always seems to run out the fastest

>print on yellow pages instead of white
>yellow dots become useless

Take out the colour ink cartridge and it won't be able to print the signature

>Going to jail over taping a piece of paper that says "it's okay to be white"
Stfu you fear mongering kike shill. That wouldn't even be illegal in my faggot country.

...

>canadians don't know that not self-hating as a white is literally nazism in Europe.

For all the shit we give you leafs, at least there's that.

(((Laser jet printers)))

Just get an inkjet

That's not how it works. The marks only like the paper to the printer, they cannot use the marks to determine who's printer it is. You would already have to have been a suspect for any of this to matter otherwise they'd have no idea where to look.

They all do it it doesn't matter. Only way around it would be to screen print

However sending an animated gif will get you 10 years in the slammer.

Why not just print the way they did in the 1700s?

Just set some letters, soak them in ink, and press.

Does the printer use other colors if you print in yellow? Some user should check this shit.

Did that user actually get convicted?

prob would still be detectable with certain light

kek

what about monochrome printers?

i wasn't before, but i am now after seeing that shit, but
>when you run out of that luminescent yellow ink
what then, CIA nigger?
also why would they go to jail for putting up fliers that say it's ok to be white? is it officially not ok to be white then?

details?

>shill implying only nazis would put up fliers saying its okay to be white.

Fuck off faggot.

>what is (((fufillment)))
>what is (((customs)))

Leafs are both predictable and unpredictable.

he sent a strobe light GIF to some cuck with epilepsy

All Modern printers have some kind of marking they make. Laser, inkjet, fax machines, etc. Best bet would be to find an old 80s machine that somehow still works. Or like I said earlier, good old fashioned screen printing is untraceable, and someone else here mentioned using a press with the individual letter blocks which you can find at any hobby store

>Is Sup Forums aware of printer steganography

Yes, inks can be tracked too.

>Not cutting out different sized letters from old magazines and gluing them to paper
Amateur

It's for laser printers mostly inkjets don't have fine enough control to make them. If you are worried use a blacklight to check.

Check'd. But you see meme flag that is the entire fucking point of these fliers. If Sup Forums can publicly convince neutral normies there's white racism afloat then the redpills can be dropped. Your at least asking the right questions

aware and printed out my batch elsewhere before I papered my university. Pretty sure none of us actually printed it at home.

Hey geniuses - Just fucking write the words with a ruler and black marker...

>an old 80s machine that somehow still works
Impact printers, like the ball based font faces. or daisy wheel printers, which were used in early electric typewriters and word processors, are still around and functional y'know.
Many do work fine with a little maintenance, its not like they've been run continuously for all that time.

>using a press with the individual letter blocks
If you're going this way, just make/get font casts for the typeface because you'll need to eventually re-smelt type metal when the characters wear out.
>screen print
You can create a cheaper version with heavy stencil paper, and cutting out the characters. Pin this page to the inside of two hinged wooden frames; bottom with a guide for a blank sheet, the top with a rectangular through space. Place frame down, apply ink, pic related.

Ezpz

...

>it's ok to be white
>hate speech

This.

How can they identify YOU with your printer?

Shouldn't they only get a make and model?

Is it that easy?

All you need is a silhouette cutter that can cut the words out, and you can place the words on a piece of paper like a sticker. It's not printed and can raise the quality if you place it well enough.

Same principle as a MAC address - each device would have a unique number.

here you go

"Mac spoofing"

...

This should be fucking illegal tf

Somebody getting convicted of "hate speech" for saying "It's okay to be white" would be an atomic redpill in the meme war. I actually hope it happens.

Just don't use a laser printer.

>not writting it with a marker
come on, you are going to leave your fingerprints anyways.
fuck this thread

Not every printer, just most b/w laser printers. Here's a list:
eff.org/de/pages/list-printers-which-do-or-do-not-display-tracking-dots

it came to my attention that you probably couldn't see this if you weren't using tomorrow or halloween theme

>go to jail for taping a white peice of paper that says "It's Okay to be White".

I can't even take this seriously. This isn't Cancuckistan.

same here. high contrast fag.

*color laser printers. B/W laser printers do NOT have these dots.

Police arent looking for suspects. No crime was commited lefty fag

Great info guys. Nice to have a thread without a hundred shills shilling

It essentially gives the machines a "fingerprint" that can be used to track where documents came from. That's not even mentioning all the invisible marks the document itself has embedded into it. Useful in tracking down leakers

Guise
Can a shooper plz make me a full page borderless template that is just plumb shotgunned the fuck up with those little dots in different random shades and pixel sizes to BTFO muh dots? Plz title the template "YellowDotGreyMan" for lulz

scroll up

>Nice to have a thread without a hundred shills shilling
this, pol is the only platform shilled except maybe niggerporn

pretty sure you would have to know your printers watermark before you can effectively obscure it.
just random dots won't mask a periodical pattern very well for example

Unconfirmed but possible.

Didnt you know that it's a crime to be white in europe?

Sup Forums is flooded with threads about "riots" that were debunked over a month ago. What do you think?

Are employment centers with free printers and computers still a thing?
I used one in Dallas one time that was free for all to use in an employment center to print resumes. I printed like 200 pages for free without showing ID or anything, and there were literally dozens of people that used the same printer within an hour of me. Best part is Antifa won't know this trick because they don't even have resumes, let alone the ambition to pound the pavement for work that would warrant needing printed copies in the first place

This. Any serious arguments would be over at that point.

Good luck extracting a second hidden image inside a piece of fucking paper brainlet.

Make sure you use a non local newspaper.

just print it out, cut out the black parts and make a stencil, get some spray paint, and do it one by one you schizo

The easy solution is to print it at a cheap copy shop and pay cash.

Nobody outside the united shitstains of america goes to jail if they're innocent.

Yes but the point is theoretically they would trace it back to those machines, and places like those have cameras all over

Sure but then they have to take grainy low resolution security footage, if they're even recording, from a private corporation (which means a warrant and lawyers), to perform a forensic investigation of something that isn't a crime and is arguably protected by the first amendment (freedom of the press).

So the odds of getting caught by the cops are low, approaching minuscule. The benefit is that the odds of DOXXING by leftists is nil because they don't have the resources to do all that, even if some rogue cop wanted to.

this
It's for color printers to prevent or solve counterfeiting crimes.

Agreed, operational risk far outweighs the chance of getting tracked down by an intelligence agency through steganographic tracking dots.
1. Yes the power structure is out to get you.
2. Not to that extent. This is legal exercise of the first amendment.

Only color lasers do it, and not all of them, no scanners or inkjets have been found to do it.

Source: work in the industry. If it was happening, I'd know.

Bonus: It's usually only used for tracking terrorism and counterfeiting, don't worry, Antifa-Boi, the Feds have more important things to do than track down your insipid little Trump posters.

Let me amend that to clarify. The risk isn't that they're going to trace the pages back to the copy shop, it's that someone is going to think "oh yeah I saw this pasty autist printing those out yesterday"

Of course. I don't honestly believe the CIA/FBI gives a shit about these prints

Just buy a fucking inkjet, they don't do it. Only color lasers.

Any printer made before 1992 won't have it. But good luck finding toner for them.
