Satanism is a christian based rebellion 'religion'. They believe in the dichotomy of good and evil and choose evil.
Luciferianism is more of the pagan approach, where "Lucifer" is Venus, the first start to rise in the morning, carrying the sun in behind it. Pagan beliefs revolve around nature and the cycles of the earth. Of course there is a lot of other bullshit attached to it than that, but that's its basis

This is babby-tier understanding. Christianity has a strong individualist element to it. Salvation comes to and by the individual, not the collective for example. The church is a collective of individuals who have heard the word, seek salvation and support each other.
The real difference is that one is materialist and the other is not.
One relies on an objective, absolute basis/law for reality. The other does not.
The other sees the world as endlessly malleable in a competition of survival and want in a darwinistic framework with no higher goal at all. The other does not.
