Are they trying to Make us Gay?

I was browsing through a digital comic retailer and started noticing that a lot of the art from the major two companies showed very enhanced bulges. Many paid way too much attention to the way the light and shadow enhanced the contours for it to be in the name of mere anatomical accuracy or detail. It was like looking at Tom of Finland shit.
Is it that the artists are Gay and draw what they like or are they trying to, er, penetrate boy-psyches with thoughts of swollen packages?

Pic related but only becaus eit was close to hand, not nearly the most explicit I have seen.

Think you're the gay one lad.

As soon as I get off Sup Forums I see this. No, they aren't trying to make you gay. Is Marvel trying to turn you into a liberal? Yes. But not a gay one. And DCs only agenda is putting out good stories

only if you are a frog.

If you could show a bunch of examples I will evaluate.

I dunno man.
Frankly I noticed it more with DC than Marvel.
The SJW-Marvel shit is obvious, but the gleaming, shiny bat-bulges - some where you can distinguish between shaft and balls, looks like gay, fucking fan-art versions of mainstream comics, but they're in the actual comics.

they trace over porn stars for the woman, are you honestly surprised?

The legend.

Here OP, I made you this antidote. If you ever find yourself wanting to suck a cock while reading comics, pull this image out and think about power tools.

It was a gradual dawning, I cant backtrack and find them all as I don't care enough.
Some dont do it.
Like the ones I've been reading with Greg Capullo, Andy Kubert, David Finch etc haven't looked like gay erotica. So I never thought about it before. I just happened upon a fairly high number revently. I guess I've been reading the straight guys.

Christ, try to be clever, fuck

You're supposed to want to be the Hero, you flaming projecting homolord.

I think that shit got popular in the 90's. Fucking Rob Liefield ass art

I think that it's balanced out by the women though

Holy shit, my sides

You're like the 3rd guy to say this so far.
I am a grown man and a lifelong artist. I discovered comics late in life. I am primarily interested in the art. A lot of these fuckers can really draw. I can barely get through the stories.
Don't k ow what to tell you. I turn a page and the most centrally placed object, with an enhanced sensitivity to the interplay of form and light are these stupid dicks. The composition fuckin even drags the eye right to it in some cases.
At the very least the artists are gay.

It looks like a human block.

Ha.

Also, DC is pushing straight marriage. They're marrying Batman, already married Superman and Aquaman, and are probably looking for a way to get one of the Flashes married. And they seem to not want gay marriage, since they blocked batwoman from doing that. And I think the big bulges and muscles are just because it's supposed to be manly.

Maybe.
In some issues, like recent Superman you see some SJW, pro imigration, anti-wall shit. On the other hand, they could be hanging back and watching Marvel take a beating over it and strategically offering something of an alternative.

Its just, as I mentioned some artists dont do it. Some do. The ones that do make it seem like maore is going on than artistic convention.

Also I could just be wrong.

Liefield was fucking horrible and irritating as all hell.
He started getting Levi commercials and jumping into main stream media in the 90s. Instead of improving his art, he got worse and took on more titles.

I still believe he was the downfall of image comics because it was his rushed art and missed deadline behavior that made it acceptable to other artists to be that way.

Liefield blows. I'm still pissed about how it all went down.

Interesting.
In that pic the viewer is sitting at like chair-height. Like a group of strippers about to dance for a guy.

In the OP the eye level is way down, looking up, like the viewer is kneeling, begging to have his mouth stuffed with cockmeat.

If as another user said, we are supposed to imagine ourselves as the "hero" these shots strongly suggest submissiveness.
If it were feelings manliness in the reader they were after we would be at eye level or above with the protagonist. The p.o.v. Would be equal to or higher than eye level with the women.

DC has an agenda for delicious chicken

Fpbp

Stop projecting faggot (op)

Learn to read images a little my leaf-friend.
See:

You're right.
The chicken-men are right up front. In the mid-ground Flashes bulge is discretely covered in shadow. GL's package is behind Flashes head.

All how it should be in comics (even with shameless cross-marketing if that's real).

Marvel is run by queers and women now. Their funny book division is pretty much dead now

You’re reading about muscular men wearing tights, why are you surprised at this

Actually comic books and portrayal of superheros in tights was way ahead of its time.
Fast forward to today and all athletes wear under armour type clothing to perform their abilities. I'm at the gym now and women all around of all ages wearing the tight clothes that would've been straight out of a comic book 40 years ago.

So the tights analogy is no longer valid.

Logically, a superhero today would be wearing under armour of some sort to stay athletic and warm while in combat.

thats almost exclusively Greg Land, most dont because they know they'll get called out for it

...

Oh, it's real buddy

At first I thought this was bullshit, but then I remembered that I'm gay for Guy Gardner

fuck

no, its just you who focuses on penis bulges in comics for some reason

He even does the bulge angle too

Fuck

1. No, they aren't. Superheroes are drawn as nude characters, then get their clothes coloured in on them. This has been the case for quite a few years.
2. If anything, it's a celebration of masculinity, like JoJo or the Gachi meme.

Fuck

Marvel literally turned 50% of their roster gay/brown

tfw no wife

I'm gay for Guy Gardner and it's all DC's fault

Dude, most straight man wouldn't even care or notice the oversized packages. Your homolust made you notice them in the first place. It's ok. We love you as you are.

The same medium with curvaceous women in skin thight suits? Yeah, they're trying to make you gay.

It's just fan service for gay and female readers. It's no different than how the female characters have sexy figures and cleavage.

If you talk to any comic book artist they will tell you that characters in skin tight uniforms are basically drawn as if they were naked.
