Who said they prayed for themselves? Maybe they prayed for others... others that got spared. Checkmate streetshitter.

Counterpoint.

I hate morals and metaphysics now, on the other hand I LOVE casual sex and cocksucking

The Christians gods supposed to be an omnipotent being, not a fucking law. He either didnt give a fuck or is not omnipotent, therefore it doesnt exist

If God had created a perfect unicorn universe where nobody ever died and no evil ever occurred it wouldn't be much of a goddamn story, would it.

Problem of Evil is presumptive horseshit. Sophistry of the purest order.

Based. We need an atheist memeflag.

>what is moral law

There is a fundamental knowledge of Right and Wrong inherent to humanity. This Law or Rule about Right and Wrong used to be called the Law of Nature. Nowadays, when we talk of the "laws of nature" we usually mean things like gravitation, or heredity, or the laws of chemistry. But when the older thinkers called the Law of Right and Wrong "the Law of Nature," they really meant the Law of Human Nature. The idea was that, just as all bodies are governed by the law of gravitation and organisms by biological laws, so the creature called man also had his law — with this great difference, that a body could not choose whether it obeyed the law of gravitation or not, but a man could choose either to obey the Law of Human Nature or to disobey it.

We may put this in another way. Each man is at every moment subjected to several different sets of law but there is only one of these, morality, which he is free to disobey.

Further, we can prove this Moral Law is not simply one of our instincts as you claim. If two instincts are in conflict, and there is nothing in a creature's mind except those two instincts, obviously the stronger of the two must win. But at those moments when we are most conscious of the Moral Law, it usually seems to be telling us to side with the weaker of the two impulses. You probably want to be safe much more than you want to help the man who is drowning: but the Moral Law tells you to help him all the same. And surely it often tells us to try to make the right impulse stronger than it naturally is? I mean, we often feel it our duty to stimulate the 'herd instinct', by waking up our imaginations and arousing our pity and so on, so as to do the right thing. But clearly we are not acting from instinct when we set about making an instinct stronger than it is. The thing that says to you, "Your herd instinct is asleep. Wake it up," cannot itself be the herd instinct.

Rude, but they think they are immortal or something, so dying is more like losing annex things (like fuging maybe) and leaving your people for a long time.

Courageous /ourguy/ Wil crushing Islam without fearing the label of Islamophobe.
Warp speed Mr Crusher!

Ok so let's just remove free will. There no evil can be committed, no humanity can exist, and human beings are regulated to ontological status of organic rocks.

Or you have a God that endows free will, which in turns allows people to create moral decisions of Good and Evil. But rather you stay an atheist and admit that there is no Good or Evil and remind yourself that the tragic murders today were inconsequential in the nihilistic pointlessness of being.

But please go on and enlighten us on your arbitrary notions of moral relativism...

Quit being pissed at God for your own inadequacies kid.

Definitions for people needing them:

Theist is a view that a deity or deities exist.

Agnosticism is the view that human reason is incapable of providing sufficient rational grounds to justify either the belief that God exists or the belief that God does not exist. It later became popularized as the view that you don't know whether God exists. Even later is became characterized as a subgroup of theist and atheist that you do not know whether this position is right but you think one or the other ("Agnostic Theism" and "Agnostic Atheism").

Atheism is a term for "ungodliness" or immorality. In the 18th century it became a view that deities do not exist. In the 20th century is became not a view at all but an absence of belief in a deity...
