So I've always assumed that I've been gay for the past 5 years or so, I've had a crush on one guy, watch some gay porn and even get hooked up with someone. Not only that, I consider myself being a liberal. However, despite all of this I consider myself as being open minded and try to avoid as many fallacies as possible. There is a lot of evidence that genetics play a significant role in determining sexuality. Subsequent sons increase the odds of them being gay. Female relatives of male homosexuals have more kids than average. Bisexual female teens have more pregnancies than straight OR gay female teens.
There clearly is an adaptive function here, just only for women.
