>10 Things You Need To Know About Democrats SHELLACKING Republicans In Virginia...And What It Means For 2018 >4. The Legislative Losses Are Unprecedented In Modern Times. >As Jessica Post of the Democratic Leadership Congressional Council states, “flipping 14 seats from red to blue in VA is the biggest Democratic pick-up since 1899.” That’s why Republicans should be so disturbed: Gillespie’s supposed lack of Trumpian flair isn’t responsible for Republicans getting annihilated across the board. Democrats are turning out, and Republicans aren’t >5. Democrats Have A Real Turnout Advantage In 2018. >Ten percent more Democrats than Republicans turned out in Virginia today. That’s a disastrous number. >6. Trump Gives Democrats Part Of That Advantage. >President Trump’s approval rating is historically awful for someone this early in his term; that isn’t helping. Despite much of the base’s interest in Trump and sympathy for him, his numbers just aren’t high enough to drive winning turnout. >7. Trump Isn't The Main Reason Republicans Showed Up To Vote In 2016. > Many Republicans are under the dramatic misimpression that Trump boosts Republican ballot chances rather than hurting them, but the evidence simply isn’t there for that. Trump radically underperformed nearly every Republican Senate candidate in 2016. He won fewer votes than Mitt Romney did in Wisconsin; Romney lost the state, Trump won. He won fewer votes in Michigan than Bush did in 2004; Bush lost the state. Trump won because nobody showed up to vote for Hillary. But Hillary’s not on the ballot anymore, which means many Republicans will stay home; furthermore, Hillary’s absence means that more Democrats will show up. >8. Trumpism Doesn’t Exist. >9. The Trumpian Unfalsifiable Hypothesis Is Gaining Steam. >10. Trump Only Cares About His Personal Power And Image.
Nobody in NJ and Virginia was a Trumpist... the whole reason why Trump was in Asia instead of stumping.
Parker Myers
The Virginia vote was a proxy for White ethnic replacement. Actual Americans vote comfortably Republican, but actual Americans are outweighed by Black and Hispanic bloc voting.
Republicans need explicit appeals to White identity and group interests so that Whites bloc vote (R) the same way Blacks and Hispanics bloc vote (D) for their own racial interests.
Connor Martinez
Lol, 14 Virginia house seats were flipped by Democrats. 14.
John Parker
Hillary was actually the strongest candidate Democrats could have. She "won" the popular vote.
She lost because her party stinks, it's anti-white. Hillary lost because Obama salted the field.
NJ and Virginia are both coastal states. Virginia was pumped full of Mexicans/Latinos and got California'd.
Democrats will find it hard to win back white, blue collar, inland "fly over" states.

This is why I told you fuckers to vote Gillespie even if he is a Bush cuck. I knew this would happen.
But it was not meant to be. Slowing immigration is the only issue that actually gets out the Republican vote apparently, and the 'RACISM' card is simply too powerful in some places.
Leo Ward
Lil' Benji is trying hard to spin this. I thought that faggot would fall in line and get behind the President but he's actively trying to hurt him. I support Shapiro for he does to SJWs on college campuses but i've had enough of him trying to sabotage the Right just because he doesn't like Trump.
There was no "Trumpist" candidate in this race. Gillespie couldn't get out the vote because he was Jeb! 2.0 (please clap). And by the way, there is no Trump wing of the RNC. There is a new nationalist movement and Bannon and Miller had Trump say the right things to get that vote in 2016. If Trump doesn't fulfill his campaign promises it's on to the next person who will. This is evident by the vote in judge Moore over the establishment pick that Trump backed, Strange.
Watch for more GOPe incumbents to get primaried prior to the 2018 general election. Long time incumbent Jeff Flake already dropped out in AZ because he was polling so bad in the Republican primary. Another one to watch for is incumbent Dean Heller in Nevada. Heller is pro DACA amnesty and he is being challenged by Danny Tarkanian, son of famous UNLV basketball coach Jerry "Tark the Shark" Tarkanian.
This result, coupled with what happened with Moore/Strange, the GOPe should be scared to death, but not because of a blue wave but because the old "compassionate conservative", George W. Bush style Republican is done. They've lost all their support and they wont be reelected.

- Virginia demographic shift. Way more non-whites shipped there via immigration. - GOP shift in platform. Less libertarian. - lack of Viriginia GOP cohesion - old dudes leaving
Virginia GOP is establishment. GOP is going populist.
Will the Democrats be crying when the pro-Trump guy in Alabama wins?
Democrats can't count on scared Mexicans and blacks in other states.

>>President Trump’s approval rating is historically awful
This makes no sense. How bad did the Democrats lose in 2010? The incumbent President's party pretty much always loses, with 2002 being the only recent exception (because of Bush's astronomically-high post-9/11 approval numbers.)
Despite that, the media is gearing up to act like Trump's the first President to have his party lose seats in the midterms.
Eli Murphy
The author is Ben Shapiro, so I'm not surprised about what he wrote because he's jealous of Trump's works. Given the amount of rent-a-shills posting here, and the way Sup Forums reacts to those rent-a-shills, it's more plausible that Shapiro wrote this only to stir a reaction exclusively from Sup Forums. The collateral damageof course is that he infects Dailywire readers with his diahrea, and it's these readers who have no clue of the ongoing rift between Sup Forums and Shapiro.
TLDR Shapiro hates Sup Forums, because Sup Forums likes Trump more than Shapiro.
Brody Lopez
He's right though.

White voters in Virginia want white candidates in Virginia that go hardass motherfucker on Mexicans, MS-13, black crime, illegals, Muslims, etc.
The cucks lost by avoiding to speak fire.

Ben Shapiro is delusional. Cuckservatism is dead.
Neoconservatism wrapped in Ayn Rand branded soft libertarianism, pseudo-intellectualism is dead.
Ethan Stewart
For every one person who voted for Trump, another 50 came out of the woodwork to vote against Hillary.
People who haven't voted in decades came out to vote against Hillary fucking Clinton.

>tfw Democrats and by extension liberals are so desperate to save their crumbling party they hype up state elections where Dems won in historically Democratic states and say state legislative gains are the end of Trump, all the while so blind to their own ignorance that they fail to realize that this means absolutely nothing to Washington
Alexander Hill
Thanks for opening my eyes,i voted trump, never again!!
Connor White
It was inevitable. He'll probably lose the next election. Maybe after the democrat we'll elect Ted Cruz or Rand Paul like we should have done this year.

Cognitive dissonance.
Apparently electing a tranny to a low level office position means that your republican nightmare of a Jewish agender bisexual Black diabetic obese trans woman will win the next election

What's sad is even though I know OP is a troll there are people who legitimately think this is happening.

They always put out these "what it means for the next election" BS after every election, and 99% of the time they're wrong.
