Yes they can you retard. Don't you remember the Apple shit
chairforce btfos fbi
Apple refused to unlock the phones of the San Bernardino attackers
That was all for show, if Vault 7 was to be believed. NSA already has ways into all devices
The FBI wanted Apple to add a backdoor but Apple refused. Then the FBI revealed they could unlock the phone all along
Ahhhh here's where we pretend whatever type phone he had is safe so people start using that phone. Must be the easiest one to backdoor.
it would be cool if his phone was filled with him in a furry suit posing with guns
Who cares? Unlocking it won't change anything.
DO PEOPLE FORGET SO QUICKLY!
NSA LOL
>they can't legally unlock it
they can get it to open in different ways.
Israel will unlock for you.
They always say this to get more public leverage on the tech companies. They have a way in
Don't be surprised if the government can break all encryption algorithms.
Not believable
This. It was all song and dance to make people think their shit was still secure.
Also keep in mind that the announcement of who was shooter was was delayed by almost the entire day. And by the time they announced who he was, all his social media was already wiped clean. Meaning that they take the time before they announce shooters' names to make sure to work with companies like faceberg/twitter to scrub their online activity and make sure the normies can't find anything on them. Same with Paddock
Never. NEVER EVER.
FBI revealed mossad could do it all along*
Way back when, PGP was outlawed as a "weapon" by the US government because they couldn't crack it.
Then a supercomputer was built. The government said this computer was to be used to model nuclear weapons. Shortly after this super computer was built, PGP was removed from the forbidden export list.
And as others have noted, the FBI has cracked Apple phones before, Vault 7 ect.
What the FBI wants is a way to crack ALL phones. They can crack any single phone they can get their hands on. This is just propaganda.
They probably should have had the shooter unencrypt his phone for them before they started the operation. I dont know why I should care about their fuckup.
They won't share those ways with the FBI though, due to competition between 3 letter agencies.
why do they do this
this is bullshit. they want you to believe that your data is safe.
>competition between 3 letter agencies
What's the point of this? I heard of the rivalry between the CIA and the FBI for years, it's no joke.
They can just do what they did last time and hire mercenary hackers to unlock the phone.
I have the right to my privacy dammit. 4th Amendment rights!
Sure goyim you can trust your iPhone, the government will never know what's in there and what you're doing.
I blame the armed rednecks for this incompetence. Too much moonshine.
It's not called the Federal Bureau for Israel for nothing.
that is not how they are compromising the phone
but it would make for a great disinfo campaign if people stopped using hard encryption because they thought no device could utilize it
To control the narrative. Can't have any inconvenient facts coming out too early before the whole thing gets memory-holed in the 24/7 news cycle. And who knows what sort of CIAnigger shit Steve Paddock was into that they needed to wipe clean?
LIES. ALL LIES AND BULLSHIT. THE ONLY THING THE FBI CAN EVEN DO IS LIE LIE LIE
iphones are NOT secure. government can break into iphones in less than 1 minute.
>Don't use math
Go fuck yourself. Shoot me otherwise you fuck fascist.
So nsa has all the records
Get it there cianiggers
thats a severe misinterpretation of our history
they lifted crypto bans because they built the PRISM cable, and were able to see data BEFORE it was encrypted
according to alex jones, he was a garden variety fat antifa/muslim numale.
Why are we goyim so obsessed with thinking our shit is secure anyway? You want secure? Don't use an electronic device. This is just "part and parcel" of using a computer.
Personally I don't care if the government knows I shitpost about niggers and watch pornhub. Who doesn't?
>anno dominio 2015(+2)
>browsing the internet bare ip
>ever
>not encrypting literally every device you have
wew lads
correct
but look at what I was replying to
wasnt it one of the antivirus guys that cracked it last time or said he could but wouldnt on principal
think it was mcafee
the issue is simple. they don't want to admit they have easy access to everyone's data.
lol layers of bullshit. what, they give it to the Guatemalan goblin janitor to unlock and it didn't work so tee hee?
Lurk more newfaggot.
Just dump the flash storage and start a brute force decryption tool that is distributed across several super computing platforms. Look up hashcat. I am sure the feds have better.
you take that back
>mfw the fbi can't do what families pay me to do for them
holy shit
>implying CIA, FBA, NSA and CSI miami are not posting in this thread right now with all your IPs and past posts ready to be sent to your workplace, family, social media and friends
1984
forgot my face
We might never know exactly what his deal was. But he appears to be an edgy neckbeard atheist with a beaner wife going to kill a bunch of christians in church on sunday, so it seems pretty clear what his motive would be. Tips fedora.
>mfw fbi cant do something 15 yo's do for fun
nice try
It takes about 9 days for people to amnesia.
You'd think these crazy fuckers would have a bit more OPSEC. Like if you're really batshit crazy take some time and go dark for like a decade and really plan some shit out before you make your last stand. I honestly think this is all an elaborate product placement campaign.
Going to have edgy fucks live streaming this shit and rigging up a way to automatically tweet their custom goucho filtered instagram photos to Taco Bell while they're clearing rooms before this shit is over.
Secure government computer network = fort knox, it could be broken into, but it would be pretty difficult and risky
iPhone = someone's wallet in their pocket while walking through niggertown
only way to have a secure device is to not connect it to the internet
fuck the CIA/NSA they are garbage and no one is scared of them.
>only way to have a secure device is to not connect it to the internet
The only way to have a secure device is to not have a device. My wife get into this last night. People get shit stolen from their phone every day. I don't take pictures, use bills or log into google from my phone.
>brute force decryption
>of even a single 120-bit key
do you ever wonder sometimes why bitcoin isnt a dollar anymore despite no marketing dept or army backing it?
aww did CIA bully you FBI-san? Did NSA steal your juicebox at lunch again?
it does make them look like retards if they cant break into what im assuming is an older iphone
if they cant break next years phone that hasnt been announced yet, theyre doing it wrong...
they have access to all phones. they work with apple etc. they are pretending that they don't just download everyone's data from their phone/computer onto their massive cloud. the game is up. thanks to wikileaks we know how guilty they are. knowing how dishonest they are takes away like 80% of their power.
>Ahhhh here's where we pretend whatever type phone he had is safe
Yes....so?
I need to know what model phone it was.
I'll bet it was a Samsung.
True, I was more envisioning a computer in one's basement, but if you're using it for something it could still be physically broken into. I remember that one video of those guys who were hired to test weaknesses in the power grid. They wandered unchecked into some major substation and put a USB drive into some random machine which was just on their intranet and had full control of that station.
I sometimes wonder whether this is bullshit or bluff? Then I remember a supposed police IT consultant having a shitfit because I sent his laptop back fixed and with his password removed. His porn collection was legal so what was he bothered about?
Because spergs want to pretend that the U.S. government doesn't dictate the global monetary system. When USD starts getting priced in terms of BTC maybe people will care about it. Don't think that's going to happen before miners stop supporting the network though.
And then they default back to "tolerance" and cuckoldry.
how do you market that service?
I work with cryptography every day and I can tell you - the math is solid and you will never crack AES256± with a strong key -- it would take trillions of trillions of years with a supercomputer the size of the solar system...
BUT you are right insofar as implementation. Its pretty simple to read keys from RAM (this is why big tech refuses to allow keys to be stored in L2 cache).
Its a misnomer to say crypto isn't secure. If users were educated enough all crypto implementation would be unbreakable with current technology
Why the fuck do they need in his phone the gov has every fucking call and text you send. They are just trying to get rid of encryption. Fuck off its a second amendment issue.
And yet the police are being handed stingray kits somehow.
that video was a red team that does it for a living
pro tip: they dont do this at night anymore because they easily could have been shot if a trigger happy minimum wage security guard was on site
Yeah. Why are they trying to open his phone? They have everything in it out in Utah.
There is no mathematical proof that AES is unbreakable.
They gain three things from this:
>Not having to reveal that he was a Registered democrat and LBGT supporter that hated Christian Values
>Pretending that they don't already have a way in to everyone's device at any time to create a false sense of security
>To create more public detest of encryption, claiming that all it does is hinder 'progress' in investigations and to create the sense that only criminals use it
>burger doesn't know his own constitution
I think the number you're looking for there is fourth champ
They fbi tried the same shit with microsofts bitlocker feature and ms told them to get fucked.
>Like if you're really batshit crazy take some time and go dark for like a decade and really plan some shit out before you make your last stand
It's pretty hilarious how half-assed almost all "terrorism" is
>Today I will destroy the American infidels and imperialists forever
>by standing around a mall waving a knife and shouting "Allah Ackbar" until a cop shoots me
>or maybe I'll hit three people with my van, that'll teach the Zionist dogs
>some dude commited a crime so hand your guns
>some dude commited a crime, so hand your privacy
Fuck off
The FBI all ready can violate so many laws and break encryption all ready nigger desu. The FBI just does not give a shit about the constitution. Besides it's not about the dudes encryption. They just want to comp, memory hole, and cover up the known fact known fact that the FBI blackmailed and brainwashed, or bribed and brainwashed the shooter and used another mentally ill patsy to committ another false flag in Texas. They were on scene in under 20 minutes because they were going to murder him if he chicken shitted out of another FBI sponsored manufactured false flag where the FBI actually really murdered all those people. Remember the prediction the day or 2 before the the shooting. "FBI is going to cause a false flag"
It's embarrassing how stupid these people are, yet they think we're the dumb ones that they're fooling. Literal fucking mouthbreathers at these agencies, but you'd honestly have to be a brainlet to do the evil that they do and not have it bother you.
Don't need to unlock phone. I can get record of every site he visited, number of every text he sent, and read them on that side of the transaction.
Rampage shooting 101: First bullet should go into the phone before you leave the house that day. It’s like fucking amateur hour here or something.
Just use "responsible encryption"!
engadget.com
so why FBI broadcast this to everyone? Is it some ruse?
use veracrypt, they can't unlock that one as easily as apple or microsoft ((("ENCRYPTION")))
Let's ban algebra while were at it.
What are the odds?
>well. guess we'll NEVER KNOW why he did it
jokes on u im unemployed and my friends are redpilled nigger
>they lifted crypto bans because they built the PRISM cable, and were able to see data BEFORE it was encrypted
That is not how encryption works nigger. The whole point of PGP is to prevent such snooping. The encryption is done on the computer before it is sent, therefore if they cannot decrypt PGP, all prism does is collect useless data
FBI themselves were unable to unlock the phone, hence why they paid a million dollars or so to get a THIRD PARTY company, Celebrite, which specializes in everything phone security and forensics, to hack through it instead for them.
its time for common sense prime number control laws
Soooo....in what court case does the FBI use evidence that was decrypted from PGP?
Oh? You can't cite one? But you know all about the FBI's fake supercomputer that is really for PGP decryption?
Mostly stolen phones.
Actual truth seekers need encryption. Yes evil will use it as well, but for our side's sake we need it.
(USER STARTED FEELING SLEEPY FOR THIS POST)
The NSA can get in, but they won't help the FBI unless for national security
>be fbi
>investigate the toughest crimes in the world.
>near limitless money and governmental corruption allow you to do basically anything you want
>Can spy on nearly everyone, including the incoming POTUS
>can't unlock some godless terrorist's phone
Christ.
>pic related
fake news
$pple had an israeli company unlock it and pretended it needed apple's tech to do it
Everything has back doors built in it
Exactly. Thank you. I'm sick and tired of misinformation being thrown around by mouthbreathers here.
Yes FBI is corrupt, yes FBI oversteps its bounds often, yes FBI knows more than they let on tech wise, but they are not some omnipotent god with supposed god-mode access to everything whenever they want. Often times FBI and other alphabet agencies outsource to private companies because the talent they have on hand isn't good enough all the time.
It's not the government you have to fear from all this tech, it's private companies that the government approaches to do it for them.
