It’s time to clean your house. What have you done today to improve your mental/physical/spiritual wellbeing user?
>What is /SIG/ and what is it doing on Sup Forums? Since Sup Forums is an anti degeneracy board it is only logical that we try and promote the healthiest lifestyle possible. We are against drug abuse, alcoholism, pornography, gluttony and laziness. Taking care of oneself is incredibly important in order to make any sort of positive change in the world. Before we can know right from wrong, we must enrich ourselves spiritually. Before we can argue we must improve our mental knowledge of philosophy. Before we can take back our communities, we must be in top physical condition.
>Why should I self improve? It’s almost impossible to not indulge in the decadence of of the west these days. It has created a mass of MSM slaves focused on vanity and material things, which the powers that be exploit in order to make a submissive population. To truly be independent and righteous individuals we must re-capture our manhood.
>What is the general philosophy of /SIG/? To truly live is to struggle. You must internalize this truth in your being and actions and spread it to others whom you care for. You as an individual can always choose to go against the flow and struggle and persevere while the rest of society rots and withers away. It's not an easy path, but you go on because you know that you are in the right and that in the end you will be vindicated. Live to live your life correctly and that will bring happiness to yourself and those around you.

Daily reminder that the steak and eggs diet is the most redpilled diet.
Kevin Richardson
which addictive habits? There is no cure for addiction, you just have to replace the harmful ones with healthy ones
Levi King
I recommend reading The Power of Habit by Charles Duhigg.
>The Habit loop: This is a neurological pattern that governs any habit. It consists of three elements: a cue, a routine, and a reward. Understanding these components can help in understanding how to change bad habits or form good ones. The habit loop is always started with a cue, a trigger that transfers your brain into a mode that automatically determines which habit to use. The heart of the habit is a mental, emotional, or physical routine. Finally there is a reward, which helps your brain determine if this particular loop is worth remembering for the future.
Takes about 18 months to change your habits on average.
Carson Turner
Masturbation.
Will check that, thank you.
Gavin Gonzalez
are you trying to quit entirely? or just not as much?
Gabriel Perez
The just not as much has been mostly done. I went from once a day to once every 4 days. I have had a hard time dealing with this.
I need to quit entirely. I'm getting held back by this shit.
Hunter Morgan
Sorry to hear that, I got off porn years ago, but have never wanted to stop fapping so I cant help you. I guess as far as my logic takes me, the easiest way would be to get a gf/wife or increase the days inbetween every once in a while (so 5 days for a few weeks, then 6 days, then 7, etc)
Christian Wood
I'll work on that, thanks for the help and support man.
Brody Campbell
Got all of those under control except for these two. Will attempt to take the next steps >Stop watching porn >Read books

Yeh I'm 26, stuck in London and don't see the way forward to the life I want. Having a major existential crisis period. Doesn't help that women you date here generally kinda suck.
Oh ok well that's good to know. I've always been extremely wary of them and drugs have always had weird reactions with me.
Juan Miller
1. Be prepared. Try to be as prepared as possible. Thus increasing your chance of success. The more prepared you are, the bigger the chance you will succeed. 2. Point of view. Point of view is extremely important. Instead on focusing on how difficult something is, focus on how easy it is. Instead of thinking about the effort and time you have to put in it, think about the success it will bring. Instead of thinking about the chance that you won't succeed, focus on the chance of success. Instead on focusing on the problem(big mistake, it sucks all your energy), focus on the solution. 3. High Energy - Be active - How to. Procrastinating is a menace. The way to solve that is best done by again changing your point of view. The more problems you solve, the better your life will be. This is the way to think about it. Thus, you search and devour problems. 4. Small bites. A lot of people take bigger bites than they can swallow. Then they wonder why they get stressed out, or they fail. Concentrate on your current tasks and stop worrying about the future. Only think about it in a positive sense. For instance, if you study a language, don't focus on the whole process that might take a year or two, but rather on what you can do today (this week perhaps) to increase your knowledge. Thinking about the whole endeavour can get you tired. Focus on the small bits of problems and how to solve them, on the small bits of endeavours and you will be able to swallow those little bites.
John Walker
5. Stress free. This is how to be stress free. A lot of times, people are filled with stress, when they don't have to be. They exaggerate the issues in their heads. Something very small, becomes something very big. Stop yourself and think, is this really as big of a deal as I make it out to be. Then try to diminish it, by comparing it to big natural disasters, like a tsunami for instance. The point of view, as you will find out, plays a big role in our lives. 6. Failures. How to smash through the little buggers. People usually handle failures in all the wrong ways. When you experience a failure, the worst possible thing to do is to stop. Keep going. Keep in mind, that failures WILL BE THERE. You can't get rid of them. They are part of every endeavour. Simply continue. When I experience a failure, I keep in mind, that they are a natural part of improving. This way I don't get demotivated. (A good story is that of a friend of mine. He works with trains and he told me, that people sometimes would put rocks on the tracks, just to screw with the train. When the train passes such a thing on the railroad, they will shake strongly, but they will continue anyway. You have to be that train. Problems are normal. Don't get bothered by them. )

Whats stopping you from moving out to the country and commuting? I know you euros dont understand an hour+ commute, but its pretty common in the us.
Levi Sanders
commuting is absolute cancer though. if you absolutely need to have a job in a city, I'd take living in that city over commuting more than 30 minutes any day of the week. even 30 minutes is too much. it shouldn't take you more than 10 minutes to get to fucking work
Charles Myers
Fill the void left with something else. Running, lifting, studying a particular subject...these can fill the void left by quitting, and can keep the mind from falling back into old patterns of thinking. If you keep focussed on the positive, there is no room for anything else.
Obviously, this takes effort and discipline and sounds easier than it is. But if you apply yourself, this will work. Don't think "don't do this". Think on what you will do instead.
Easton Hall
At work now, going to go home, lift, shower, eat, and study. (Technical studying for work - Will be making 200k in 2 years if I keep passing licensure exams.)
Then I find a wife and start putting babies in her.

well it would be ideal to not have to commute, but there are things that are more important, like finding a wife and owning a house that are worth the sacrifice

advice for a student who's taking 36 hours a semester (no time to work so the few dollars i cling together go to junk food and a gram of weed a month to make my hunger go away)
>stoner leave It takes me a month to finish an entire gram. I don't even smoke enough at one time for a first time user to get high- it just helps with digesting the shitty food

Good!
Caleb Davis
steak and eggs only costs me $8/day, there is really no excuse for the junk food or drugs
Evan Jackson
by junk food i mean bulk pasta from costco and the cheapest meats I can find. I literally make about 30 bucks a months from random stuff.
the weed costs 5 dollars, so putting that into food would give me less than 20 cents extra a day for the month
Dominic Jones
I've been struggling with a heroin addiction for several years. But after talking to a couple guys on here a few months ago, I've managed to stay clean for the last couple months. Feels good that I'm not disgracing my people and my family any more. Next goals are to quit cigarettes and get back in the gym.
Hunter Davis
and ive gone months no problem without weed because i wanted to spend that 5 on a small steak for the month or something. Im really using weed to just digest all the carbs i eat. i get constipated if i stop but thats it
Benjamin Turner
why cant you get a job or increase your loan slightly so you can afford food?
gjdm, please stay off that shit, ive known too many people who relapse and die, stay safe. You may think you know your limits, but you dont.
youre making excuses, and that needs to stop.
Landon Torres
Great. I wish you the best user.
Jose Baker
I havent been able to find any jobs that work with my schedule as I have classes scattered from 8am to 8pm every day of the week, and then study for 4 hours every night (Sup Forums is for during class)
the weed seriously isnt an issue. its once a week MAX at very small amounts. most of the time i end up giving most of it to my roommate who smokes more than me. But i dont need to convince you or anything, its ultimately my bad decision. If i can start affording even poor people food i wont even want to smoke anymore (this has been the case in the past)
Evan Allen
36 credit hours is 36 hours a week, but you claim you are going to class 84 hours a week? I dont but it, either you have long periods inbetween classes in which case you should rework your schedule for next semester and would have time to work or you are just lazy and lying, which seems the most likely from the mental gymnastics in your second response.
Blake Long
Let me tell you a story Sup Forums
>Be me. >Be 20 >Be a libtard, alway protesting, occupy, anonymoose, counter protests for the EDL ect... >I did it all. >I even quit my job so I could be a "full time protester/volunteer" >I was hooked on social media looking for the next big thing to protest. >If there was no protests there was meetups. >Nothing political ws spoken, just booze and weed. >An excuse to get wrecked.
>Well, quitting my job was a bad mistake. >I thought I could live of benefits and handouts. >My "Friends" at the time did it. So could I. >I didn't realise they had rich parents to keep them afloat. >One night I got full on cucked and caught my GF at the time cheating on me. >Well, being a white male, I lost the flat and ended on the streets. >No job, No GF, No home. >The libtard life style lead me to ruin. >Everything I owned was gone.
>My parents wouldn't let me back home. >They told me I made my bed and I got to sleep in it. >They warned me enough times where my choices would lead. >I didn't listen >At the time I hated them for it.

processed foods, you should only eat steak and eggs with vegetables you grow your self
trades are for former neets, you should go to college if you can
Nathan James
sweden is a great country, if it wasnt for the white guilt causing them to take in a bunch of immigrants, they would be fine. Thats really all that sweden needs to fix, they are plenty capable of handing out life advice.
every other kind of improvement pointless until you do and needs to come second
Owen Perry
And do what? If you pick the right trade you will be way better off than a college cuck with little to no debt.
A very tiny proportion of people who come go and get 4 year degrees come out and make anything near what a guy in a trade can make in his first year on the job.
Nathaniel Baker
Look at yourself and ask why you reacted like that. My guess is that you're not satisfied with were you are in life and so you reacted with anger against my post.
Thomas Foster
you get bored with them or start to despise them, that means smoking 10packs a day instead of 1 etc, minor faults such as junk food doesn't matter if you start to lift... instead of drinking 2 liters coke drink 2 glasses with lots of ice cubes and sip it, never go cold turkey on anything you don't even have to
Jack Gonzalez
No, Sweden is finished, Sweden destroyed itself. Sweden is in no way a great country.

>After a month on the street. I bumped into an old friend I haven't seen in years. >We kind of grew apart due to opposing views. >In my mind, he became a fascist. >I cut ties with him after trying to convince him of leftist ideas. >I still remember as clear as day walking down that street hoping my old friend wouldn't recognize me. >He did. >He pulled on my shoulder and look dead at me. >It was a face of disgust. >"user? What the hell, you look like shit..." >I told him what happened. >Almost in tears. >He pulls me to one side off the busy street to give me some decency I guess. >After telling him what happened, he stood there for a while thinking before giving me an hardest punch I ever received. >He wasn't angry, well not after calling me an fucking idiot multiple times. >After he calmed down, he told me to gather my stuff where I was staying and told me I was living with him.
>I remember seeing the spare room, I could of broke down tears seeing a bed that I could sleep in. >After making me dinner my old friend laid down the conditions of my stay.

Buy eggs from locals with chickens. You help your own community, get to know the ppl selling them, avoid the tax jew and your yolk will be dark yellow like that.

I'm trying to solve constant tiredness and depression
I seem to have found that a lot of it(more than I expected, maybe 75%) has come from diet and sleep.
See I've been sticking to mainly fruit and meat, or anything besides wheat/grain and I have way more energy
Jason Kelly
we need doctors, lawyers, politicians, business leaders, etc to progress this ideology anyway. That was rockwells main blunder, he thought that revolution is brought about by the dregs of society, when in reality you can attract people with nothing to lose to a movement, but they are incapable of taking it anywhere. Trades are fine for the individual Sup Forumsack trying to get his life back together, but if you are capable of making it into the senate that should be encouraged, not a trade as a short cut to making enough to support a family.
sweden isnt lost yet, have a little faith baby
i wouldnt know, thats just a picture i found on the internet. I make my eggs with a dallop of sour cream, romano cheese, salt, pepper and garlic and onions from my garden, whisked together and cooked in a sauce pan removing from the heat while stirring vigorously with a rubber spatula every 30 seconds or so.
William Roberts
This as well. I’m also forgetting that it’s about how much sunlight they receive as well. Usually th healthier the chicken the better the color of their yolk..
I’ve heard some horror stories about how mass industry give chickens some ingredient. Can’t remember, that emulates the color of a healthy yolk. Even though the chicken is just trapped in a cage

He spoke to his boss on my behalf. >The work was shit first of all, as it was in car sales, and I had to clean and polish the cars. >But the pay was ok. >By then one thing on my mind was having a good life.
>After working there for three months, I got to know the boss of the car sales. >We spent hours talking about conservatism ,business and politics after work. >We eventually became good friends. >I told him when I was younger I wished to own a business, family, and a good life. Like he does. >To my surprise, he let me tag along to meetings and sales. To find the ropes. >Everyday I took a notepad and wrote down any tip /advice he gave me. >The best advice he gave me was "There's no-one holding you back but yourself." >As the weeks past I started my own little business.

women respond well if you show interest without revealing your hand. what I mean is, show them a good time, but don't show them that you're looking for something MORE. feelings will only develop naturally over time, you can't "convince" girls to like you

Your whole post reeks of Elliot Rodgers, talking as if women owe you something just because you have money.

on god. Technically the government pays the bulk of my tuition but I am other than that entirely financially independent. I'm just a freshman though so I will probably go back home for the summer. One way is to get out of the house more. You can't fap unless you're alone and in relative private (may be different in France...) Go to a museum, go to the park, go running or just a walk, do things that tire you out in another way or get you out of the house for hours at a time.
The next way that helped me a lot was reading about how much in nutrient content is lost through fapping. Lecithin/coline, zinc, magnesium, and a whole host of other nutrients that are imperative parts of neuronal maintenance and renewal. The only places where many of these vital nutrients are found in as high concentrations as semen are in the sheaths of nerves (can't remember the name just now), brain tissue and spinal fluid. This is not such a problem when you're young but the effects stack as you age. By your twenties you're causing yourself active damage by damaging your ability to regenerate. Your ability to learn is incumbent upon your ability to renew and build anew neural pathways that are essentially what new habits are.
In other words, if you're wasting grams/milligrams of vital nutrients in fluids then you are damaging your ability to learn, form new habits or indeed be physically fit, as physical fitness derives as much from the health of your nervous system as your muscles/tendons.
No problem is uni-dimensional. Attack it from multiple angles: the physical, mental/psychological, social/relational, educational angles all simultaneously, but also remember that it's a big job and a relatively slow process and setbacks are inevitable, but must not lead to regression.
And give yourself some credit. Going down from once or multiple times a day to once every four is fucking huge. Best of luck.
Nicholas Adams

I'm sorry I have to cut this short as I got to pick my wife up from her amateur dramatics soon. (she's doing a pantomime for the village kids)
Cutting a long story short, I manage to get enough money to buy a new build house in a coastal village, with a a beautiful trad wife with a beautiful daughter. I have never been happier. My old friend who saved me from my own stupidity moved in down the road from me also. He's doing well.
The reason I've told you this story Sup Forums is that there is great people still out there and you'll be surprised who eventually comes to help in your time of need. But even with help, you still need to improve yourself. You can make it.
You yanks are onto something when you mention the pursuit of happiness because it is real, but when pursuing it you have to do the leg work.
