Downtown Seattle user checking in, live in a loft in Chinatown. I resigned myself nearly two decades ago to how retarded this state is politically and how brain dead the average Seattle voter is, but outside of Seattle, Washington is a cultural black hole, and living here is the only way in this state to feel connected to the larger world.

Bellingham checking in.

There's probably at least 10-40 Sup Forumslacks in Bellingham judging off these threads.
Bellingham reporting in as well.

Chinatown is nasty.
Jason Smith

the town is comfy, despite being miniature Seattle.

Spokane isn't big enough? You could also move try Tacoma or even Vancouver. But Vancouver is next to Portland which is a worse Seattle so, eh...
Ian Moore
Don't disagree, but it's the cheapest place to still live in downtown for cheap without resorting to living in North Seattle or (god forbid) Federal Way or Shoreline.

Just want to say thank you for the Hirst ruling, I've met a few people from the west coast who've gave up trying to own property in Wa state and moved to N. Ga buying up acreage.
My property value has more than doubled in four years (200k to 450k) but it's getting a little to blue for my liking and my taxes are going up. Thanks I suppose...

West Seattle reporting in. I'm glad to see the homeless are still having trouble making it over the bridge. Can't wait to see what our new mayor is going to do to help alleviate the homeless problem in Seattle! It's quite lovely being able to explore a third world country within this first world city.
Kevin Russell
agree
also, uptown seattle reporting for duty

anyone ever see a ufo?

The property taxes in this state are beyond ludicrous, Spokane being the worst offender by taxing appreciation on your home. Fucking shits.
Noah Cruz
Believe it or not, but Vancouver has a surprisingly vocal conservative community in nearby camas and washougal. People are friendly too.
