Has anyone else been here for years? Sup Forums used to be a lot more fun in the past. Let's try to define old Sup Forums versus nu Sup Forums:
Old Sup Forums: * Lots of discussion on Nationalism Socialism and history * Tons of Libertarians * Dislikes police/government in general * Strong proponents of gun rights, including open carry and people convicted of felonies being able to own guns
Nu Sup Forums: * Vapid topics like "Nigger hate threads" and "Hispanics aren't whi-" * Authoritarians everywhere * Loves the police * Mild supporters of gun rights, "I think people should be able to own guns but not assault rifles!"
What other differences are there? I think what happened is the average age got lower, a few years ago the average age on Sup Forums was like 28, now it's like fuckin'... 19. You see a lot of "Should I join the military," topics. Fucking pimple' poppers in high school still, man.

Nah, there definitely was a golden age on Sup Forums. Lots of forums have golden ages, where there are good people who post, but eventually they leave, and the forum turns to shit.
I'd say around 2013/2014 Sup Forums was fucking great. I miss the discussions on National Socialism and history, but I guess to discuss those things on here it actually requires that the person is knowledgeable, and a lot of the posters here are dumbass teenagers and early 20-somethings who make vacuous topics like "Nigger hate threads" or some shit about who's white and who's not.
The quality of the topics on here is extremely low now. Zero effort put into them.

I refreshed on the Catalog, and out of the first two rows, eight topics contained either a single sentence in the subject or title.
That's it. A single sentence. It'd take like 10-15 seconds to make a topic like that.
Perhaps the Sup Forums staff should add a minimum text count to prevent these shitty, low-effort topics?
