Tpb hasn't been a very good tracker for a long time. Public trackers in general have been shit for anything other than brand new TV shows/movies/games since private secret club trackers hit the scene, and no matter how many get shutdown or how much is lost (see what.cd ) people just don't seem to learn and instead try again.

Sites like TPB have been targeted by the American government for years and years due to pressure from the entertainment industry and their hosting of torrents that contain copyrighted material (movies, songs etc).
Their sites constantly get attacked and DDoSed by """hackers""" and the owners of the site have been threatened many times with legal action for breaking laws in America (even though they're all from Sweden.
Back when their sites were popular this was a massive issue on sites like Sup Forums and torrenting websites got a lot of popular support. Now that streaming exists and people get their entertainment elsewhere no one seems to give a fuck about them anymore.
To me torrenting was and still is on the front line of peoples freedom to do what they want on the web and had implications on intellectual property and what should and can be copyrighted material.

Problem:
I can't pay for most of the things I want because it's not being legally sold anymore, if ever. No one is legally producing or supplying the media I want. The copyright holders would rather sit on it and let it die in their hands than to let the art be free, and grow and be shared as art should be.
