Goku.

...

Piccolo

Shiryu

In retrospect, Kurama's fights lose some appeal once you realize that every fight he's in involves some type of gimmick. Has Kurama ever won a single fight without having to resort to some plant gimmick or clever trickery.

That's his strength, I don't see the problem here.

Probably not. He's also the only one who doesn't lose his shirt when he fights.

Mah nigga

The one where gouged his eyes off was awesome, shame he got better.

I really wish Kurama were a girl. Why does Togashi do this shit to me

If you thought the shipping was bad now

This

Kumagawa

Good taste.

Despite being the lamest, Hyoga had a surprising amount of good fights too.

Milo, Camus and even Hagen were good.

Isaac too.

Sasuke

toss up between lee vs gaara and tobi vs kakashi

Mayuri

>implying Shikamaru isn't best Nardo

Tenshinhan had the best fights in DB. Every big fight he took part in was well-animated and interesting. He even made fighting Yamucha look cool.

...

>liking an obvious self-insert
Kill yourself. Seriously.

I mean

Sasuke vs Orochimaru1
Sasuke vs sound kids
Sasuke vs Gaara
Sasuke vs Naruto1
Sasuke vs Orochimaru2
Sasuke vs Deidara
Sasuke vs Itachi
Sasuke vs Bee
Sasuke vs Danzo
Sasuke vs Naruto2

unko tintin

Sorry, Boku no Kurapico had better fights, with the exception of that one with the catboy.

You mean like every other character in the show except Kuwabara and Hiei?

YYH's strength in fights was that they more often than not were won by clever and intelligent actions by the main characters, with Yusuke and Kurama being the best at that.

Who cares if Kurama can't win fights without trickery? That's his thing, and it's why he's notorious in the universe,

Funnily enough, I felt Hiei had the best fights, If only for the reason he felt like Vegeta played entirely straight.

A character totally arrogant and up himself that also won every fight he was in via a sheer curbstomp was pretty hype to see.

Loved that one scene where he manages to cut a dudes arm off without the dude actually noticing it happen.

FMA, Scar, though Bradley and Ed had good fights

Kenpachi has the best fights in Bleach. He brings a level of destruction and savagery to his battles that is unprecedented in most shounen anime despite being one of the good guys.

Hiei fights were the worst. He uses Dragon of Darkness Flame and boom, battle over.

Oh shit. I just remembered Kurama beat that guy when he was paralyzed, standing with all of his limbs frozen.

Nevermind. Kurama it is then.

>kurapika
>fights

Not really a fan of the character, but his fights with Gyokuen and Alibaba were hands down the best in the series.

He's a fox. Of course he's clever and gimmicky in fights.

...

Jotaro vs DIO is hands down one of the best and most iconic fights in Shonen.

This

Raoh

Shaka. Seeing him take on Hades was so hype.

Pic unrelated

Yusuke usually won from dumb luck and resolve

Easy.

...

The ending is kinda lame and anti-climatic. I know it is meant to allude to the first time Johnathan beat the shit out of Dio but ti's still lame.

Everytime Dio leads with a high-kick it leaves him open...

>that montage before he rising dragons shura's ass to space

makes me tear up every time.

naruto is kishi's self insert

hey maybe choji is kishi's obvious self insert too because he likes to eat

dumbo

It wasn't even the best fight in Jojo.

Early One Piece are some of my favourite fights in shonen and Luffy vs Enel is probably one of my favourite fights ever even if I don't think Skypiea was amazing.

Usopp

he can see this you know

This

Mob fights were good but Teru's fight will always be the best.

shonen fans pls respond this

most of sasuke's fights involve him being manipulated and not really winning on his own

J

He has the best fights in One Piece, arguably. Usopp really earns his shining moment every arc or so.

This.
I finally finished yyh this year and 99% of fights were goddamn random powerup or dumb luck.

Someone explain power creep to me. Specifically in shonen

>implying this wasn't great

Was going to post this.
I love underdog characters that have to resort to trickery in order to win.

due to poor writing the only way to make the next villain look good is by him being stronger than the last one

FMA:B

Tough call between Ed and Mustang. Ed has more consistently good fights whereas Mustang is (usually) just beating on people. But the extended sequence of Mustang vs Lust is my favorite of the show.

>implying this wasn't the most hype scene of YYH

Piccolo
Doppo Orochi
Raoh
Smoker

Yusuke getting out of the cave imo
