I personally love Eva and it is my favorite anime
It's literally an anime for everyone, it's well layered so that everyone can enjoy
It's got great action, cute girls, psychological aspects, great art direction, it's visually really good, the characters are very complex, the lore is insanely rich, the music is awesome, the plot itself is really weird, it's still got fanservice and comedy in spades, the monster designs are phenomenal
It's literally for everyone, I can't understand how a person can watch Eva and not be satisfied
The only way that can happen is if you're greedy and demand that something must exclusively pander to you for the entire runtime
