I'm kinda hoping Yoshinari has learned from the second OVA, he's admitted she's a difficult character to write, and I think as a result she became a difficult character to like.

She was great in the first OVA, but in the second she basically told her friends FUCK YOU AND YOUR STUPID IDEAS WE'RE DOING IT MY WAY YOU FUCKING LOSERS.

my entire opinion of the series will be based upon the suce-meister

All I care is that it manages to be better than OVA2, that was so bad. OVA1 was a fun little thing in its own right, but as anything more than that it's just a cheap chinese harry potter knockoff.

Better development for Akko that doesn't go the route of The Enchanted Parade and more characterization for the rest of the cast, especially for the trio from the second movie. Expecting fun, lots of fun.

We've already gotten a peek at what the animation is going to be like. The question is whether or not they will be consistent all the way through.

I want a catchy op, ed or insert song, I want Akko to become a badass like Luluco and Ryuuko did while still retaining cute demeanor and above all else, lots of Diana and Amada and settling the story about Shiny Chariot's background.

I'm expecting extreme lewd a la Kill la Kill.

I don't have high expectations. I am going to watch it because I watch most mahou shoujo, but I don't think I will particularly like it.

I hope Handa keeps a tighter grip on the drawings than was shown in the teaser

Straightforward, unimpressive, even mostlly static, that's fine by me, as long as it doesn't look terrible. I hope they can hack it.

That makes me wonder, the blue haired girl looks like somebody who would be in Little Witches's world but, aren't the girls of Little Witch like ages 10 through 14?

Would be nice to see more explict Englishness in the setting.

Since the whole thing was set within the academy, the first OVA only really had a map to show it, revealing that the academy is basically where stonehenge is.

The second OVA had quite a bit more with the market, some of the cars, an old-fashioned phone-box and even a Punch and Judy show came to life, which is perhaps the most esoteric thing, and there was Akko's UK flag which came out of nowhere, and Shaun and Ed from Shaun of the Dead were hidden amongst the background characters, although I'm not sure that should count. The architecture of the town looked like he picked out a few buildings from Salisbury and just ran with it. There's a mix of buildings there but in the OVA even the Tudor designs were rendered to look like stone.

So far in the PV we've seen a railway station that looks like it's based on Salisbury station (closest to Stonehenge), and a sign for a London Underground station that is laughably far west of London. It probably says "Ley Line".

I don't know, just for it to feel more solid. I feel like, at least from the first OVA, if people hadn't noticed that map, they could assume the academy was anywhere.
