Because they're rural and suburban retards.
americans believe in climate change but their is a debate over whether or not it is man made or if there is a purpose to fighting it if it's irreversible, this is a general summary, i dont care about statistical outliers, you are a faggot, /thread
It's not that we don't "believe" it we just understand it's not caused or accelerated by humans.
It's as real as free healthcare.
This. Only the conspiratard /x/-tier nuts deny climate change out right.
Believe in it? I welcome (((climate change))).
Eventually we'll enter a new ice age, which, as history has shown, only white people are intelligent and resourceful enough to survive.
Climate change will end Mother Nature's welfare, and all the shitskins will starve and freeze.
Hard to say. I guess the concept can be a bit complex for some people with a specific percentage of european heritage.
Why do leftists pretend to care about the environment while simultaneously importing millions of shitskins to "maintain population growth."
Science is not performed by consensus. Go suck off Al Gore more please.
I dunno, are natural disasters a new thing?
Even that position is wrong. Look up potholer on YouTube, he destroys your argument and many more on the topic. Climate change is real, and it's being accelerated by humans and it will have detrimental effects.
Weather is not climate change yoi dumb shill
>this one guy on YouTube disproves your argument that's based on facts collected by dozens of different sources and millions of years of data
K
>yearly natural disasters
>normal
Keep driving.
I was waiting for some astute user to point this out.. none of those pictures are related to (((Climate Change)))... or maybe they are, because, ya know.. everything is (((climate))), right? It's funny has quickly words lose meaning the moment shitlibs start using them.
Politics and science do not mix...kinda like interracial unions.
Science was created to be pure and true...factual. Now it is all about fraud, money and power.
And the only way to fix it? Tell me. Enlighten me! If you say reduce green house gasses through taxes and legislation then fucking die.
The only way to reverse or put a hold on climate change is to reduce the world population by 4 or 5 billion. So there is no fix unless you want to unleash the most vicious genocide in all human history.
We believe in climate change because it has changed for millions of years. We just don't believe that florida has been underwater since 2 years ago. Also warmer temps will make more land available for growing food in northern climates
Your thread yesterday was weak.
>Being this much of a brainwashed rube
Sounds pretty bad. Bet you won’t kill yourself to remove your carbon footprint. I’ve yet to meet an environmentalist with conviction. My cousin is in with a whole clique of them and they’re constantly jetting off to strange parts of the globe to do some little project and sample the local dick. Is that why you’re interested in environmentalism?
dumb motherfucker detected.
so why didn't all the brown people die in the last ice age?
homeschooled assfucker
>Why do Americans not believe in Climate Change?
>nigger tier meme flag
We do believe, moron, it's self evident. Yesterday was sunny, today it's raining.
If sea level rise will as bad as proposed the entire state of Florida might be under water. It will become some kind of modern Atlantis.
Fucking leftists...
Just about no one says that climate change doesn’t occur, but a whole lot of people who aren’t idiots haven’t seen even remotely enough evidence that *anthropogenic* climate change is real.
Having the University of East Anglia falsify their data, try to suppress publication of contrary research, and NOAA employers falsifying sensor data sure doesn’t help your case.
Oh God, y'all are so fucking stupid it hurts.
One could argue mandatory vaccinations were a mix of politics and science, but we eradicated polio and numerous other deadly diseases. Not to mention, banning CFCs was a huge step forward in halting the deletion of our ozone, dramatically decreasing our chances of skin cancer from high levels of UV radiation. There's also government regulations curbing added lead to gasoline and other numerous examples. In all situations money was lost, money was made, there wasn't a way to not have economic consequences. But that certainly doesn't justify inaction. Politics should always be based on science with the supposed exception of moral issues.
You're shilling for the fossil fuel industry, you're not getting paid to do it, and you're too fucking stupid to know it.
>one could argue mandatory vaccinations were a mix of politics and science
Only if one were a complete imbecile.
why do you not believe in God mr junckers
>your shilling for fossil fuels!
Haha, no he isn't. Yet you are literally shilling for the expensive and inefficient solar industry, funny because that industry relies on your shilling to survive because it is that cost inefficient.
Go to school, kid.
Insults, rhetoric and using the word shill from a burger no less.
hummmmm....I think you have to go back
You can't believe in climate change unless you are in the Paris agreement.
You can't be this stupid. You can't.
NASA just discovered a volcano under the Antarctic. Eat shit.
Who the hell does at this point?
We all see this piece of shit for what he is. Don't waste your time friendo.
We have been under siege by these maggots for a few months now
Typcial of your kind: when you’re caught you start ranting and squealing.
psychic intuition, once yellowstone blows it will be reversed and we'll enter a mini ice age.
The irony is that during the crisis of ozone depletion, it was mostly the United States (+Japan) that pushed towards swift, coordinated international action to phase out CFCs, while the European Commission was inclined towards delaying action. But in the end, the world took sensible and appropriate measures to stop a potential threat that was identified by geoscientists.
However, what is highly concerning about the ozone analogy is that action only started on a significant scale once a catastrophe had already occured - namely when the British Antarctic Survey first discovered the massive ozone hole. If the same is going to apply to climate change and CO2 emissions - and governments will drag their feet until the first major catastrophes start to occur (when sea level reaches 1m, for example), then there is virtually no hope left.
By that time, positive feedbacks inherent to the carbon cycle, the ice sheets and the biosphere will not only continue to evolve on their own for millennia but also provoke highly non-linear responses as incremental steps might push systems across critical bifurcations and knock them into a completely different state of operation.
They do, the climate changes all the time and everybody recognises this. Ironically your image is of things that have happened since before humans were even around
It's still fun to call them out for what they truly are: liberal cunts who would gladly take rolling blackouts to be considered "right" for once in their lives.
What's the temperature of the earth? You don't know, do you?
Don't answer these assholes. They copy and paste their filth...you actually are spending your valuable time answering a paid faggot
Public transit soyboys got btfo hard in that thread, esp the one leaf who said that millionaires take the bus.
>You can't believe in climate change unless you are in the Paris agreement.
>You can't believe
>You
>nigger tier meme flag
>nigger tier b8
>nigger tier logic
your last (you) queer
And you shouldn't jump the gun before green energy is viable you can't have health care, 15 dollar minimum wage while destroying the oil and gas industry while opening the boarders to Illiterate 3rd worlders and Islamic fanatics. You naive faggot.
>If we vaccinate everyone these diseases will go away
>Vaccinate tons of people
>Diseases go away
>If we don’t cut carbon emissions to 0 our planet will be just like the disaster movie I just saw!
>Increase carbon emissions
>Nothing happens
You idiots had one chance to market this phenomenon appropriately and you fucked it up by going full retard.
I know, but it’s good to keep in practice at whip-sawing them.
I acknowledge climate change.
But I reject the solutions proposed by shitlibs.
Two things
You always conflate climate change with global warming, climate change existed since the heavenly body of Earth existed however the science of human caused global warming science is very contradictory.
However if Earth does warm, regardless of this change's cause, it is a good thing. If Earth warms higher temperatures mean more rains, higher water levels also mean more rains, more CO2 means more plant-food and the two factors in together will turn the deserts into lush environments. And Greenland will finally be live up to its name again like it did a millennia ago.
Because it's fake and gay:
I know how you feel and I appreciate your input.
I guess pol is pissing off too many people...the fucking siege on this place is getting insane. The entire first page in the past month have been shit threads, You know they will cherry pic the most demented answers to their obvious shilling and put it in some liberal rag of a paper to make us all look like monsters
Soon enough, we won't have anymore fossil fuels. There's no point in waiting around for fuel to become cost inefficient and have our whole economy rely on it. Solar technology is advancing fast, especially with recent quantum dot research finding ways of maximizing energy efficiency, but wind turbines are proving to be more cost effective for now.
show me hard evidence and none of that statistical noise bullshit model crap
HAHAHAHAH, yes it is fun sometimes.
>positive feedbacks
Haven’t been demonstrated. If they’re real we’ve already crossed the commonly accepted threshold. This argument requires moving the threshold or just accepting that most feedbacks in nature are negative feedbacks and this unicorn scenario does not exist.
>can't refute
>leaves a nigger response
false premise. kys
>One could argue mandatory vaccinations were a mix of politics and science, but we eradicated polio and numerous other deadly diseases.
>Doesn't realise Polio mainly caused by heavy metals poisioning.

Ask a climate changerif its the biggest threat we face how far are we willing to go to stop it. What will they do about 10+ billion people needing green power.
Stop. I only mentioned climate change, other than that my political views are irrelevant. You're being a partisan hack, and a simple one at that.
>Haven’t been demonstrated
from what blog or youtube video did you get that idea? In fact, some of the most important positive feedbacks are trivially derivable from the basic thermodynamic equations. The water vapor feedback for instance is a necessary consequence of Clausius-Clapeyron
We have 30 years more of fossil fuel supply since the '80s. It's just a constant procrastination to slowly raise fuel prices.
Solar tech creates a larger carbon footprint than if we were to use coalplants in stead.
Wind turbines are large spikes in open fields making excellent targets for lightnings. You have to replace 10% of the wind turbines every year.
Both wind and solar are causing bird holocausts.
If you want to go clean use nuclear.
>Al Gore said Florida would be underwater by now
Gee I have no idea why people won't believe him.
>muh polar ice caps will melt by 2014
Why do leftist brainlets still fall for this guy's scams?
Especially this dickhead. He thought he set a great trap:
>hohoho! see, if they saw mandatory vaccination is to protect society I’ll stomp on them with “mandatory reduction of greenhouse gasses it to protect the whole human race!!!”
The part this dumbfuck missed is that we know *exactly* how and why vaccines work: we have models of diseases and how they spread and we have models of the human immune system and its antibodies. So, when we came up with vaccines —weakened strains of disease that could produce antibodies without most of the negative effects — we knew what the fuck we were doing.
Anthropogenic climate change assholes don’t have shit for reliable models, can’t explain the exact mechanics, and keep getting caught making up the data. That stupid chode got BTFO by his own dumdass trap.
>>Increase carbon emissions
>>Nothing happens
Are you just blatantly ignoring the data? Or are you a literal paid shill? La Nino has already passed and record highs are still being set.
We live in the north with more water and relish the idea of negroids starving and feebly challenging us on the battlefield for our water.
Because when you look seriously into it and not like emotional libtard you can figure out that all the scary bullshit we were told never happened...
Though I'm sure you're fluent in Kardashian shit...
This.
That being said, I like clean air.
Also I don't agree with the narrative of using climate change as an excuse to import niggers.
ty for being the only person in the thread to point out that NOAA fudged their data.
do you have any sauce for the suppression of contrary research?
you don't know how feedbacks work, do you?
To be fair, your pick depicts fires and floods, something that has been fairly constant since humanities beginning. Also, climate change is not a new topic, it's global effects have been disused since around the 1960s and nothings really come of anything despite apocalyptic warnings. So, people just kind of stopped caring.
You do realize the biggest problem with coal is the sulfides and carcinogens, right? Carbon output isn't great but there are plenty of other reasons to dislike coal.
enlighten me
Nope. Those issues are closely tied to each other.
Immigration is being justified with global warming.
You have to call out the bullshit if you want to save the planet
we just dont believe that florida will be under water by the year 2013.
turns out we were right
>trivially derivable
>thermodynamics
If you weren’t so retarded you’d know what nonlinear dynamical systems are, the fact that weather and climate are nonlinear dynamical systems, and that there’s nothing fucking trivial about modelling.
We still can’t make a decent weather forecast more than a few days out but you buy into the bullshit that global climate is predictable in the long term involving variables you don’t even know about.
That’s not a scientific conclusion, that’s a prophecy.
>Partisan hack when I'm in agreement with you.
I don't agree with your means to the end.
Good I’m sure all the models of this trivial relationship have all been and will always be exactly correct.
My point was that the severity of predictions did not match reality. Every worst case scenario was marketed as the average case scenario in order to push various schemes. A 1C increase over a century is nothing to get crazy about.
As we all know, nothing ever flooded prior to the 1980s
The climate can change, and we can't do much about it.
One would hope that the earth will get colder because this benefits mammals and avians over reptiles, but you can't guarantee that just because we've had 6 ice ages over the past 60,000 - 80,000 years that we can expect this cycle to continue.
400 ppm of CO2 isn't going to do much though except it could warm the atmosphere a touch at least in the short term (maybe 100 years)
But if we have a sufficient volcanic eruption, summer might be cancelled for the next 5000 years.
If you have not seen the movie Vaxxed, you should check it out. They are not anti-vaccine, they just detail how something well researched was corrupted by politics, $$$ and power.
Any science that has politics attached to the hip is bad science. Especially climate change, as you pointed out. They have the worst model in scientific history. They can't make 1 accurate prediction using their model. The scientific method therefore demands that you change your hypothesis and create new models.
Humanity is so fucked, a great purge is needed
Google “University of East Anglia” and “hacking”. Basically, someone cracked their email server and it showed that as one of the leading climate change research institutions, they’d been fucking with their data. There were also email threads about “taking a stand” against anyone with contrary findings and that they should use the peer review process to suppress them.
Of course, they cried and screamed that “that’s all been taken out of context!”
LMAO, I hope you realize there's more than one type of feedback. Goddamn, Sup Forums is filled with literal mouth breathing retards whose sole existence consists of spouting "shill" and "libruls".
shut up and pay the tax goy
Probably because they were still in tropical countries with the all the other monkeys.
what the fuck are you people talking about? The guy I'm responding to disputed the idea that positive feedbacks exist in the first place - and I point out that the water vapor feedback (regarded as the most important positive feedback) is a necessary and logical consequence of the most basic thermodynamic equations that describe the world.
So how are you challenging me by babbling about models and weather forecasts?
P.S. Climate scientists are the last people on Earth who think that climate models are "a prophecy" or "always exactly correct"
>conspiratard brains explode when exposed to pic related
>We must do something to save earth from evil humans an their greenhouse gases!
>Lets tax them
Gee, I wonder ((((who)))) is behind this
clean coal however don't get me wrong
start here
en.wikibooks.org
basically to get a positive feedback loop in the climate you would have to logarithmically increase the greenhouse gas concentration in the atmosphere, i.e to get twice the temperature increase you'd have to increase it by 4 times etc.
it is virtually impossible by current human activity
Because we are smart enough to realize any changes are cyclical.
We also have enough common sense to understand the bright thing in the sky that provides light during the day seems to be to tire cause of warmth and heat.
And a ton more but what use is explaining when eurofags can't seem to detect bullshit. The real question is why can't the rest of the world tell when they're being propagandized.
Because Americans are dumb, stupid, simple creatures who cannot understand science. This is why democrats and liberals in general are the superior beings in that particular island of inbred retardation, for they can comprehend the mysteries of the universe - which they usually see in minutes-long videos on YouTube by Black Science Man & Co
>not rick and morty
You had one shot and you blew it.
>hmmm....I’m caught bullshitting....I’d better say “babbling” and try to confuse the issue.
Because science shouldn't require belief. If authority demands belief, that's a religion, not a science.
>why can't the rest of the world tell when they're being propagandized.
Do you honestly believe it's more likely that the whole world is brainwashed on climate change or just the one country that put all of its eggs in the oil basket?
le 13% face
yeah except current trends are going against all relevant cycles
>inb4 posts 40 graphs that make no sense and tries to justify the past 2 decades average increase in temperature with a 500.000 year cycle
and there's another "thing in the sky" that traps heat in the planet, it's called the atmosphere you dumb fuck
