Finishing the Birdmen story time dumps that I've been doing at 5PM EST every day this past week. It's a great manga, but not a lot of people know about it. Translation is 3 volumes behind, but I have the raws and will be dumping those too. One volume a day, and this is the latest (+ the latest raws): Volume 8!
Volume 1 Volume 2 Volume 3 Volume 4 Volume 5 Volume 6 Volume 7 Last time, Arthur fucking died and ended up taking about 50 or so young birdmen with him, Takayama found his corpse and said that the "time" will come around soon. He then left Tokyo without explaining anything. It seems he wishes to push birdmen evolution forward without regard to humanity, which is counter to Karasuma and Umino's desire to stay close with humanity and not become completely separate from them due to evolution. Also, Fox, the rogue agent of EDEN has joined forces with the Bird Club and revealed a lot of information.

And Fox doesn't want to see a boring world.

>Umino Tsubame (14)
>First Ability >"Linker"
So there you have it. Linkers are so rare they're practically legend, so guess what? Takayama will NOT be the key to Karasuma and co's revolution, it will be Umino. Umino will be the Linker who will allow humans and birdmen to join together. This was foreshadowed, and kind of has been foreshadowed the whole time. Takayama has no interest in that. He will not be returning to Tokyo, I imagine; not before this series nears a climax. Those of you hoping for him to come back; give up on it.
You don't need two Linkers, after all.
