Well if you "know" then keep digging. Try composing. Compare more popular songs. Because once you know enough, it's absolutely inevitable to see it for yourself.
Between the limited number of (not-shitty) combinations and a natural tendency to riff off of other people's work, you'll eventually see how easily this happens, particularly when it's gotten incredibly easy to get access and exposure to thousands of works almost instantly. It's also just math: as the pool gets bigger with such tight constraints, the chance of two melodies that close together rises exponentially.

I love how they handle the Bad Guy ending (Cobra, Kumo, & Sasori).
