Where has the time went?

Compilation of unfinished plot points in Bleach
PART III of III

Ambiguous shit created by the last chapter

>Halibel's fate, dead? alive? still in the dungeon?
>Lille Barro's fate

>What happened to the Royal Guard?

Do you think Kubo stopped giving a fuck a while and just went through the motions not caring about lose ends?
Because there's so much fucking shit left out, and not even a single page for characters like Halibel or fan favorites like Urahara.

What the fuck Kubo?

Guys, Bleach was cancelled and you will never be happy with how it ended.

Give it up

The nips are speculating that there will be an anime announcement soon.

So was I user.

It feels like yesterday.
Yet it feels like so long ago.

I've considered re reading Bleach honestly.

fuck I've considered re fucking writing it to give it a good end.

I was in love with it as a child and still am.

Where did the years go?

>What happened to Yamada and his older brother?
>Why wasn't Yamada promoted to lieutenant.

More plot points.

Adapting the last arc isn't going to fill any of the plotholes

It's over. Time to let it go.

Yamada's older brother got basically canceled, because Kubo liked his design so much that he used it for the Facebook guy, he said so in an interview.

The promotion thing was just depotism.

Why did they make a fucking video for the bonus pages? Why not just post them here or on their shitty blog?

Are they really? Link?

>What did Renji ask Urahara on the Human World?
He was asking on clarification on what exactly ichigo was I think.

Short haired Rangiku is cute.
CUTE!

>Yamada's older brother got basically canceled, because Kubo liked his design so much that he used it for the Facebook guy, he said so in an interview.
I'm sorry. I don't understand. He used it for facebook what? What do you mean canceled?

>Do you think Kubo stopped giving a fuck a while and just went through the motions not caring about lose ends?
I think its partly this user.

I also think he was just stupid as a writer.
His main talent was, and still is, his incredible artistic talent.
Hell he started drawing manga so he could draw cool shit with a story.

After a while he started writing week to week and he isn't a talented enough writer to pull this off.
You can see it getting slowly worse and starting to repeat itself because he didn't give himself time to write a plot line.
After he realizes the story is going to shit you can see the art deteriorate because he's no longer invested.

If he had stopped and thought about what he needed to cover, characters he needed to develop (Arrancars and Vizards all had lots of potential as did Ichigo's human friends. Looking at you Tatsukifags)

After he starts the Fullbring Arc you can see that the ideas he does have are executed poorly, and the art reflects the fact he recognizes this.
I also don't think his editors done their job correctly by not telling him to stop, take a break, and THINK.

Its honestly just down to his inability to stop and think about a story he could really get behind and love as much as the first few Arcs that also filled up a few plot holes.

I think it'd be fitting to give Bleach one last reread before leaving it.
It all depends on whether or not Kubo contributes to the writing.
It's on 2ch.

Shūkurō Tsukishima was a character from the Fullbringer arc.

Sup Forums nick named him "Facebook" because of how his power worked.

Kubo in an interview mentioned that he copypasted Yamada's brother design to create Tsukishima because he liked the design too much to leave it on a side character.

So basically Yamada's brother got his design stolen and given to other character.

I think for the later arcs, he had a bunch of cool moments on his mind (King and Horse, Orihime goodbye scene, Rukia goodbye scene after Aizen got sealed, Ulquoirra's death, etc) but didn't know how to tie those together in a story. That's why it was
>fight
>fight
>monologue
>fight
>monologue
>MEMORABLE MOMENT
>fight
>fight
>fight
>monologue
>fight
for everything during and after Mexico.

Member when Bleach was good.

This actually really fits as to how Kubo writes. I remember reading an interview where he stated that when he gets writers block, he just makes up more characters. It's probably one of the worst ways to go about it because you end up with massive amounts of characters left undeveloped.

What's all this about Yamada's brother? This is the first time I heard about him. When you say Yamada you're talking about Hanatarou, right?

>I remember reading an interview where he stated that when he gets writers block, he just makes up more characters.
Judging by how many characters we have now we can see how often he gets it.

If you think about it, probably Kubo's talents were better suited for an ecchi Manga, like High School of the Dead.

He could still draw the god tier women with gigantic tits he loves, and people would not give him so much shit for the "plot".

>I remember reading an interview where he stated that when he gets writers block, he just makes up more characters
Kubo must have writers block 90% of the time.

>Kubo kept getting writers blocks and kept making up more characters
>editors told him he's getting the axed, which gave him another writers block
>since he couldn't make new characters anymore, he simply ignored half of them in the final two chapters and left their fate uncertain
Bravo Kubo

Yeah, Hanatarou has an older brother. Named Seinosuke. He used to part of Unohana's Squad. He was described as having a bad character in personality but had great respect for Unohana.

>Bleach was cancelled
>implying

With the godawful pacing, they can do adapt it in under 30 episodes if they wanted to.

He could've brought Yamada's brother back though.

Exactly.

He had all the pieces of one of the best battle shounen to ever be written.

I think we all had characters that we'd have wanted to see more of, and IchiRukifags were never ever going to be happy because they were delusional, but overlal he had the pieces there.

He also had the rumored Hell Arc to go to as an alternate route.

Bleach will always remain wasted potential as it stands.

Honestly I'm incredibly disappointed with Kubo.
He had it all there to give it an incredible ending.
The ending it deserved.

Yet he wasted it all.

>he just makes up more characters
It fits him fairly well to be honest.

He just loves to draw. Its his greatest passion in life.
So when he got bored or stuck? Draw more cool character designs and give them a plot role.

Its a shame he had to add them all into the plot and not just a select few of his best.

>Kubo must have writers block 90% of the time.
He does.
The man is an artist first and an author second.

>probably Kubo's talents were better suited for an ecchi Manga,
Possibly, but I'm still glad he tried his hand at a battle shounen.- and he gave it a bloody good shot, lets be honest.
Japanese Ghost Busters and Attack on Ghost were incredibly fun to read.

Mexico did feel repetitive (as in a rehash of the previous Arc) and lifeless (landscape) but it was still a good deal of fun to read and to watch.

In all honesty anons I want Kubo to write again.
I know I've criticized him a lot, we all have, but he gave me some fantastic memories during my childhood years.

His artwork is incredible when he's honestly committed.

And honestly I think he's a pretty likable guy.

If/when he draws again I'll give him another chance.
I owe him that much...
he also gave me best girl
kubo I want a spinoff

Yeah were talking about Yamada Hanatarou's brother.

You can see him here as Unohona's LT, Kubo reused his character design for Tsukishima.

Was this in a Databook or Q&A somewhere?
>Isane became captain
>Hanatarou didn't become VP

What if they simply condense the entire arc into a final movie? Hell, they can cut out everything about the Soul King's body parts and Ukitake being kill, since that went nowhere.

>tfw people find Rukia attractive

Who's pic related's name again?

You know, I used to ship Ichigo and Rukia casually before the other shippers went insane, and it occurred to me as the final chapter dropped that even if Kubo had thrown them a bone and paired Ichigo and Rukia together, it would not have made the ending any less clusterfucked. Ichihime took some getting used to but once it was canon, I was surprised by how natural it felt. The only natural part of the last chapter to be honest.
>Ishida forever alone

>Isane became captain
>Hanatarou didn't become VP
Cakeboys don't become Vice Captains.

Rukia fans are very intense about their preferences.

Webm related.

Seinosuke looks like he would've been a great antagonist after Aizen.

>Kubo drew this
>Tatsuki never was relevant to the plot

If I didn't find Bleach when I was younger and dumber I wouldn't still be here after the ending talking about it. Hell, I probably would have quit and never looked back after Fullbring or late Hueco Mundo.

>He was the one manipulating Aizen.

Further proof that her and Rukia are pretty much the same character.

Does it not occur to them that the character they worship will probably be horrified and disgusted by the way they behave?

>Tatsuki became a shinigami
>she killed and skinned Komamura and made him into her scarf

>Tatsuki becomes a shinigami.
>Ichigo's face when she gets BTFO by a Hallow and dies.
>The amount of KUBO's being yelled that will ascend him into Godhood.

I like her as a character sure, but she doesn't make a very attractive boy. Especially with Toshiro and Hanataro around

>Orihime powers, what the fuck are they?
Fullbring obviously. I always wondered why nobody realised that.

Shocking enough I was a Nelfag from the minute Neliel was revealed so I think I'm a little more objective than Rukiafags or Orihimefags on this subject.

Basically everyone else is honestly.

It honestly always seemed apparent to me that Orihime was Ichigo's perfect partner.

Ichigo the cold, emotionally repressed kid who is overly shy being paired with the outgoing, quirky girl who only acts that way to cover up her emotional damage.

On top of that she's the girl he fights along side, and by Mexico it was completely obvious to everyone, or should have been.

"I can't get hurt any more Grimmjaw"

>kubo drew this
>never relevant to the plot
Really makes you think

>Ichigo and Kaien were family
>neither Rukia or Ichigo knew that
It was obvious Isshin was the fourth Kiba brother, but holy fuck Kubo, I'm sure a lot of people was waiting for that moment.

>Seinsosuke knew of Aizen's plot all of along.
>Seinsosuke was the one who helped set Aizen up in the shadows so he could kill and replace the Soul King
>Seinsosuke remained a silent background character with a bad personality not to draw any attention to anyone.

What was his end game though?

We could have had two stories in Bleach if Kubo actually put this in mind. Ichigo's adventures would be Soul Society affairs and Tatsuki's would be the human world. That way Kubo could focus on characters on both spectrums instead of shafting. The finale could possible include an intersection.

What happened to Shark tits user?
I always feel bad for him because Halibel potentially had one of the worse endings.

I'll never not want to know what happened to these two.

>Kaien, Kuukaku, Ganju and Isshin aree brothers
>Kaien dies
>Isshin goes missing
>Kuukaku loses an arm and turns into an alcoholic
>Ganju fucks pigs
I feel bad for the Shiba house.

...

SHILL THAT SOUTHPARK
GET THAT PAY CHECK
YOU KNOW YOU LOVE IT SLUT

I'm still mad Kubo brought her back for the final arc and that ended up basically being the only thing she did.

I was looking forward to seeing her actually get a full fight in her adult form this time.

Same as Nell, Grimm, Ura and Yoruichi.

No data available.

...

...

>What was his end game though?
He knew Aizen would lose. He just wanted the Soul Society dismantled in the process so he could rule over the remains. But that substitute Shinigami from the human world with orange hair proved to be a lot more troublesome than he anticipated.

But now with Yhwach out of the way, Yamamoto dead, Aizen locked back up, and Ichigo retiring to a family man... maybe it's time take more initiative.

Any salty tweets?

...

...

ENOUGH!!!!!!!

...

>The Shiba Family line continued with basically a god child as heir
>They don't know shit about it
>Rukia doesn't know
>Ichigo himself doesn't know
>Ichigo never invited Kuukaku and Ganju to his weeding or to the birth of his son
>Probably not even Isshin since he was also missing from his own house on the last chapter
>The house will die
>Their members will drink their sorrow away thinking of the better days when they were noble until they die too

Bleach really needs a fucking spin off...

I just want someone else to write it...

sorry Kubo I love you

> He just wanted the Soul Society dismantled in the process so he could rule over the remains.
In all honesty that is a decent plan, as he can restart society from scratch and rule as god-king.

Ha. What do you know about pain?
I actually envy IchiRuki shippers.

>Probably not even Isshin since he was also missing from his own house on the last chapter
This, where the fuck is Isshin?

People were tweeting porn to Kubo non-stop as soon as they knew he reopened it.

user I am a Nelfag.

Have been since day one.

Believe me when I say I know.

I just love getting back at them for derailing every thread if you posted one picture with Nel and Ichigo in the same fucking panel.

They're all insane user.

Im mad by the fact that she probably died there and we can't truly know or not for sure.

>some guy says "WELL FUCK YOU, ALSO YOUR WAIFU DIED"
>you can't even refute it because KUBO

She gets good page time in Bleach: Happy To Serve You
I take some solace in that.

>No data available
Grimm is the King though.

Sup Forumsnons does this board have a discord server?

If not should we make one?
I see a few boards doing it and I'm unsure if it would be worthwhile making a Sup Forums server

have a Nel for your troubles

>They're all insane user.
Shippers? That's a given.

You know the worst part? Nell, Urahara and Yoruichi were my favorite characters. In this order exactly.
And Ulquiorra on a fourth place. Fitting.
I think that even confirmed death is better than nothing.

149293431

As you can see this a thread for a dead manga.
You would be better fishing for (you)s on the Keijo thread, or the Yugioh general, or in the One Piece thread.

Not even gonna give you a (you).

>You know the worst part? Nell, Urahara and Yoruichi were my favorite characters. In this order exactly.
Jesus Christ Sup Forumsnon. That sucks.

Hopefully a data book will give us all some closure.

Best opening coming thruuuuu!

youtube.com/watch?v=ZWmIxjjIGls

>one piece thgread
>not dead since the general started
kek you're a funny guy user

but I asked here because its a dead thread and the posters here are (now) less cancerous than in other threads.

Its mostly /comfy/ shitposting and emotional reminiscing.

and dreaming about what could have been

>Not After Dark.
youtu.be/uUlpEUbsHw8

>tfw still no good hitsugaya doujins exist
why even live? Hows that for a popular character if he doesnt get no djs?

>we never had Toshiro vs Ishida
>we never had tagteam Yuroichi and Chad vs Soi Fon
>we never had Chad & Orihime vs lieutenants

That opening was misleading as fuck
I liked this opening way more
My favorite in fact

>That opening was misleading as fuck
Like most Shounen anime openings.

Was going to post that OP.
That ending part was hype as fuck.

I don't even want the bleach anime to come back now. Imagine ichihime being animated. Fuck that. Also perriot would never want to animate that.

>Bleach threads now are just nostalgia over the anime openings, people mourning their waifus and general hate for how Kubo ended the manga

Im not gonna lie, I remember watching the SS anime arc and it feels like yesterday when in fact was like a decade ago?
I also remember posting with anons "haha I fucking love Kubo, glorious bastard, I hope Bleach threads like this never end"

I never thought I see this day, it feels too real.
And too sad.

Bleach killed it when he killed ichiruki. Bleach had a bright future. Something to build on top of. Instead KUBO left his series in the dust. Dust in the wind. RIP. The only possible way I expect the series to continue is a thousand year time skip where all of the original cast is dead except for aizen who escapes his jail after a thousand years. Or two thousand, and he finds a new world unlike the one before.

>"haha I fucking love Kubo, glorious bastard, I hope Bleach threads like this never end"
newfag or nostalgia goggles

Bleach threads were always shitfests. Too much shipper cancer.
We had the odd good one though.

>Bleach killed it when he killed ichiruki
Romance was literally one of the most minor points in the entire series and it was made perfectly clear that Ichigo was going to get with Orihime from as early as Mexico.

You people are insufferable.

Stop spreading lies. Tsukishima was created before Hanatora's brother. Tsukishima was created during the later stages of the SS arc.

>Shinigami Far East Regional Force
What did Kubo mean by this?

>nostalgia goggles

That because I mostly remember the threads when people discussed how Kubo's lore was based on Buddism, Maya shit, etc. where everyone reacted like WOAH SYMBOLISM KUBOOOOO.
And the spoiler threads because the chapters came out when on my free day of the week.

I just skimmed through the threads composed of pure shipping on the middle of the week.

>That because I mostly remember the threads when people discussed how Kubo's lore was based on Buddism, Maya shit, etc. where everyone reacted like WOAH SYMBOLISM KUBOOOOO.
>And the spoiler threads because the chapters came out when on my free day of the week.
ah this makes sense then.

Those threads were rare but a lot of fun.

>What was the Soul King in the first place?
He was god. Until the Shinigami decided to seal him away.

>How Uryuu survived the Auswahlen twice?

Haschwalth explained that it was because of the Antithesis.

>Why Yhwach couldn't see the future where Uryuu shot him with the Silver Arrow?
Again because of the Antithesis. The Antithesis gives Uryuu immunity to Yhwach's powers and allows him to surpass them.
