Hell, technically 5 trillion dead per day is nothing with a population of a few thousand trillion, it's kinda expected, so its not enough.
40k kinda sucks these days and is more derp than dark, but it used to have a neat style without being too serious about it.
Original edition 1 has all the better grimdark stuff (without derp) and tons of humour.
