So how much new information did we actually get?

Yaya explained that the Pure Illusions tend to "influence" the people who go into them. I was kind of hoping we'd get a part where Cocona looked at Papika and her face was starting to go blurry like the other gokigenyou girls.

Seems like for some reason Yayaka and her crew aren't so desperate for the crystals that they're willing to actually fight over it, since they just politely asked and then gave up when they were told "no, we're keeping it." I wonder why that is. Maybe they don't think they could take the Flip Flappers in a fair fight? They also seemed to help them find the exit. So I dunno what their end game is.

Satire of S-class in a show with no yuri payoff.

Yayaka obviously hesitates to confront Cocona directly in combat because they're still friends. So far everything between those two has remained friendly competition, and Yayaka's bad attitude seems to be more about pushing her friend away from something dangerous than any sort of real spite.

This basically debunks the idea that the people who enter PI influence the world itself. It's all but proven that these worlds exist even without the main characters presence in them.

Evidently, Yayaka has been deliberately choosing the same world as CCN and PPK each time, probably because she wants to be there to keep Cocona safe.

I'll be honest with you guys. I found the girls fairly harmless and funny to look at, albeit a bit disturbing because of their design.
But the moment they started to go crazy bitches mode and teleporting/walking... I legit got spooked. I wasn't expecting it to go so much into the horror aspect, and then in that long corridor, they just got like IN YOUR FACE MOTHERFUCKER.
I wasn't ready... I hope my roommates didn't my my screaming too much, hahaha. It was so dumb, but I was genuinely scared there. We saw them coming from miles away, but I still pooped in my pants...

There is 1 fragment in each and the fragments seem to be the thing actually influencing the worlds, to different degrees. They can form into a being in the world (ep3), or control the entire world (ep5), probably because some fragments are more powerful than others. Wasn't this ep's like a full or almost full jewel while some of the others we've seen are smaller bits?

Absolutely incredible. This episode flowed so effortlessly from spooky to comedic to action packed and back again that I'd have a hard time rating this anything lower than episode of the year. Its only been 5 minutes since I've seen it and I already want to watch it again. Fantastic.

Actually, we're fairly sure that Cocona has a tracking chip embedded in her and the cult are sending Yayaka after her to steal the fragments they find.

Yayaka is an important character so I would not assume that her actions and motivations fit 100% with what the cult wants. We might see her getting punished for failing to take the fragment next ep.

As for helping them get out of that PI, she had plenty of reasons: Cocona is her friend, a feeling of obligation after Papika pulled her from the bottom of the clocktower, and preventing the loss of a valuable asset for the cultists.
