They really did show that they learned their lesson from DIO's World going by the Quiet Life Part 2 and Sheer Heart Attack episodes. It's going to be fine.
Besides, Crazy Diamond Is Unbreakable should be a lot easier to animate and portray accurately than DIO's World. DIO's World had tons of flying around and a huge emphasis on DIO's big intense expressions, things that look amazing on the manga format, but can't really be replicated on animation unless you have a shitton of budget and time available.

I only started to read the manga after part 3's anime so I didn't realize until later why people were freaking out.
It was a bit of an "oh" moment, when you see how Dio goes from being pretty creepy to "Holy shit, I'd literally shit myself if I met this guy in a dark alley". I still like the episode however and I think its faults are mostly on account of shitty framing.

Because it truly needed them, not even QUALITY removal, a lot characters needed actual redraws because there designs were awful not in a quality way. Don't act like amount of changes is some kind of achievement on DPs part for putting so much effort into BD, it's just an index on how much they fucked up.

That's not really a problem since they're legally obligated to do so, but their subs just aren't very good. But, to be fair, they are rushed in order to get them out an hour after the episode airs in Japan.

It's a shame the anime dropped the ball on the DIO vs Jotaro fight (especially since the build-up of DIO's World was actually pretty great in the anime). DIO's World is one of the peaks for the entire series

I think modern JoJo fans will never really understand just what a huge thing DIO and DIO's World were back in the day because everything in it has been turned into memes, and thus, the intensity has been diminished.
Remember, back then, no one knew DIO had the power to freeze time. Part 3 as a whole is Araki not presenting Dio in a straightforward manner like in Part 1, but instead teasing us by showing glimpses of his characterization and leaving the ever present question "what the fuck is DIO's new invincible abiltiy". And then he introduces said ability to viewers by kiling a fan favorite (Kakyoin) instantly. What Made In Heaven is to us now is what DIO's World was to people back during Part 3's publication.
And the entire ride hinges on that "Holy shit DIO is back and worse than ever" feel. DIO's World is like Araki stating "well I teased you guys long enough and I know you really like this guy and I really like this guy so here he is doing all the things you want him to do. Oh look at that, he's killing your favorite characters. Yay". He puts so much effort into every single panel with DIO and every moment that it's nearly impossible to replicate that on animation, especially with DP's limited budget.

Love Deluxe had its name changed in EoH, but was the same in the anime. Polnareff has never been referred to as such in the games, too, but was in the anime. It's pretty weird how CR don't have to change certain names, but the game localizers do.
