Wondered why they couldn't just back her up to a zip disk.

Not this fucking thread again.

It had a good first episode but after that it was very okaysh.
>That psycho pass episode

very few other shows were able to leave the hole inside of me that this show did. 7/10 honestly

It was predictable and boring, I didn't care for it much. Not bad, just meh.

It was fucking stupid because, for all their seemingly incredible advances in technology, they still somehow hadn't come up with a viable means of preserving the androids' memories/personalities. Did hard drives stop existing somehow?

The ham-fisted emotional manipulation was so blatant that my willingness to be emotionally manipulated scabbed over and lost sensitivity.

It was shit

It flopped right? Which was kind of weird since it had a lot of hype before release.

Best show of its season even if angry contrarian hipsters believed otherwise. Promised romance and delivered in spades. Who cares if their technolgy was not perfect? That actually made the show closer to reality.

Thank you

>this thread again

>Same season as pleiades, shokugeki, hibike and oremonogatari
>best show of the season
???

Worse science and a worse love story than Pleiades.

Somehow I think it was actually the hipsters who liked this show, but that's rather odd given the reception it got was pretty bad from what I've seen.

You should know if you're not a giant newfag

Shut the fuck up, tripfag.

I don't think there are any angry contrarian hipsters against this show, more like underwhelmed hipsters. The romance it delivered was cheap and safe, the standard plot of two people pussyfooting around each other even though they like each other, except this time it's supposed to make your said because she dies.
And, if the average viewer can think of a way to deal with the technical problems that the people in the show consider to be unsolvable, why should they just sit back and not let that bother them?
Maybe it's just that everyone is stupid and it's not really a well written show. The only thing this show had going for it was visuals.

I printed out a few photos is Isla, and taped them on my wall. I don't want to forget her.

I want to marry a robot.

No you don't.

I cri every time I see a Ferris wheel;-;

>cri
>;-;
tumblr is waiting for you

Forced drama. Nevertheless, I still enjoyed it

They fucked it up with the ending. Isla should have lived.

Both of these are true. It had some proper drama to it, but you can tell they pushed way too hard for that shit.

>Surely they will find a way

They don't.

Funny that a simple dd command could fix everything.

kill me. please

I remember a lot of shitposting about forced drama. And something about Zach being a psycho?

I don't remember zach, but I remember a lot of forced drama.

how can you be so new you didn't see a show that aired a year ago?

>they didn't just put her up in a torrent and seed for eternity
Fucking casuals.

It's a struggle to read that, even if it is funny. I hope the afterlife is bereft of 3D scum.

I only know Singapore only imports cheap foreigners, not robots.

I hope I've entered the eternal dreamless sleep before the future as well

I thought it was very good. Most Sup Forumsutists are going to disagree because they didn't focus on the actual theme of the show, which is about death and dying. The story is by no means unique or new, but I thought it was executed well.

Exploring the idea of how you would spend your time if you knew you only had a few months left to live is something that is relevant to everyone and can provide insight into someone's personality. We get to know Isla through the way she perseveres while the specter of death looms over her. And of course the audience has to come to terms with her death just as the MC did.

I wish we had some resolution to the plot after she is taken away, but I think most of us can guess what's likely to happen. I think the show could easily run for 13 or 26 more episodes exploring how Tsukasa deals with grief and his job at Terminal Service. He could get a new partner; Isla could come back, but with no memories; or some twist leads to her still being alive and maybe Tsukasa has to search for a way to save her. There's lots of directions they could go that would all be interesting.

>The story is by no means unique or new
Off the top of your head, name at least three shows that followed this theme, as well as any other key similarities that would support this statement. When's the last time you watched a show about someone building a relationship with an android waifu in spite of her inevitable demise?

Faggot.

Probably the best thing to come out of it

I think we forgot it mostly
I don't remember because it was forgettable

Reading comprehension truly is at an all-time low.

So you can't. Good, because that's what I figured.

No, I'm not you ignorant, autistic, dick-slurping piece of shit. Because I never said anything like that in the first place. You're incapable of comprehending written English. Why would I engage in any sort of dialogue with you?

I didn't think it did the concept all that well, honestly. It's no Bokurano.

Only anime to come close to Clannad After Story for the feels. The only people who genuinely hate it are the ones who are pissed off it wasn't an Eve no Jikan clone.
