from what i can tell the couple behind this are serial campaigners for the democratic party and probably conning them out of fortunes for little return.
theyve both been involved with dem campaigns since the early 2000's as marketing people, if theres any scandal here itll be how much theyre being paid and what the return is. given whats been known about other long term activists with close ties to career politicians theyve probably become millionaires.

Interestingly enough, it’s pretty difficult to find who is behind this. They get their funding from the Run For Something Action Fund and I cant find any address or an EIN for that 501c(4). I’m sure it’s out there, but they don’t make it easy. They are behind all of the recent progressive election victories. Still digging.
