Would Microsoft have been prosecuted for being a "monopoly" if they were Jews?

Isn't Google (search engine, Youtube, Gmail and more) a much bigger monopoly?

Google has competition on all those fields though, how would that be a monopoly?
Anyways I agree that the accusation against Microsoft was a total jewery because the goy was about to get ahead.
Microsoft could have been /ourcompany/ if it wasn't for everything they fucked up from vista onwards, and the hiring of 15 pajeets for every white male.

>Google has competition on all those fields though, how would that be a monopoly?
Not really. All other search engines and video services are for niche use (Bing for porn, liveleak for gore, certain video sites for /ourstuff/ that Youtube banned). But sure, some competition exists, but wasn't there competition for Microsoft too?

WE NEED TO EXTERMINATE THIS FAKE JEWS LIVING IN WESTERN COUNTRIES

>But sure, some competition exists, but wasn't there competition for Microsoft too?
I'm agreeing that Microsoft got fucked unjustly.
> I agree that the accusation against Microsoft was a total jewery
But that doesn't mean The same injustice should be applied to everyone else.
You know the saying, eye for an eye, and everyone goes blind.

Jew status doesn't matter. Lobbying influence does, and Silicon Valley learned their lesson about that from Microsoft in the 90s.

>The same injustice should be applied to everyone else.
It should be applied to jews. Fucking hell, they fully control the media, and at the same time make "affirmative action" laws giving niggers the jobs that low and middle class whites should have. Disgusting.

Having a monopoly is not illegal you fucking brainlet

Where did I make that claim?

>United States v. Microsoft Corporation 253 F.3d 34 (D.C. Cir. 2001) is a U.S. antitrust law case, ultimately settled by the Department of Justice, where Microsoft Corporation was accused of becoming a monopoly and engaging in anti-competitive practices contrary to the 1890 Sherman Antitrust Act sections 1 and 2. It was initiated on May 18, 1998 by the United States Department of Justice (DOJ) and 20 states. Joel I. Klein was the lead prosecutor.

Read the title of your post.

An uruguayan talking about monopoly. Interesting.

How are those state run monopolies running over there?

Bretty ok though.
Water is cheap, electricity is not too expensive, and we got fiber thanks to antel (state run telephone company).
Besides when it comes to water we voted in favor of not privatizing it.

But Microsoft were prosecuted for being a monopoly + some bullshit???

Prices of all of that are subsidized, so not only they are monopolies, but you need money on top of them to artificislly bring prices down. They can't sustain themselves on its own, so you pay your taxes AND the price of the service.

Funny you left out ANCAP of that list. I wonder why?

Nah, we subsidize those services for jobless fags and other niggers. That has nothing to do with the companies being monopolies, but the state being a semi socialistic zombie.

>Funny you left out ANCAP of that list.
Ancap is not a monopoly from the pov of a citizen.
If that's the case I also left out state run marihuana.

>All the gas stations charge the same
>Not a monoply from POV of customer.

If you say so.

All prices are subsidized in that state worshiping shithole. And the state is the biggest employer. People there wonder why money drains so fast and ask for a bigger state at the same time.

Top kek

I don't wonder why the money is draining, I know it's frente amplio's fault. That doesn't mean I want a gay ass anarchy state. Considering our idiosyncrasies, such an idea would fail even harder.

>Forcing prices is a monopoly
I know it's setting prices is a stupid idea, but that doesn't make it a monopoly, it's like you just don't know what that word means.

Sounds like you don't know where the gas stations get their gas from. Sounds like you think they all import gas separately and good ol Ancap only sets the price.

I know education there is shit, but try to keep up.

Yes. You need to read a little further down the wikipedia page.

Google has competition in all those areas. Just because you don't like using Bing or Vimeo or any number of other email providers doesn't mean they aren't valid competitors.

To answer your question though, you must understand what the Microsoft case was actually about:
>The plaintiffs alleged that Microsoft abused monopoly power on Intel-based personal computers in its handling of operating system and web browser sales (at the time web browsers were not freeware, but were sold individually on discs).
>The issue central to the case was whether Microsoft was allowed to bundle its flagship Internet Explorer (IE) web browser software with its Microsoft Windows operating system.

If Microsoft wwas Jews it would all already be over homeboy. Bill Gates is basically a convert to Judaism but if they had been true Jews from the start we'd be fucked.

>And the state is the biggest employer.
Every time a major industry stops needing as many workers, the number of related government employees quadruples.

It's disgusting.

Pair that with making it illegal to fire them, and with a communist love for unions and you get Uruguay. A strike every day because they can't get fired and their salary is already way higher than the national average.

You don't quite grasp the dimensions of this country if you think that competition in refinery would make anything better.

You don't quite grasp the topic of this conversation if you think that's what we were discussing.

I never disagreed with you on Uruguay being retarded and abusive about it's monopolies, the only thing I'm saying is that monopolies aren't inherently bad.
It depends who and how they're administered, being the case, that currently they're administered by shit-heads. If they were scrutinized better the monopolies would work fine.

Google was coming up when MSFT was getting fucked with anti-trust suits. This is why Google spends $15M a year in lobbying Washington.
