Akane chapter is tamer than I expected, I was expecting a DV or Akane killing other magical girls only to realized that they were her family and what not.

On the other hand, I am amazed that Akane mother is able to keep her face straight after that.

I feel like I like it better when what actually happened isn't shown, its better to let us see her bond with them before shit went down, it helps characterize her better

I know, Akane's bond and willpower was really strong that even a memory wipe wasn't able to make her completly forgot it.

I'd read her adventures about the quest to cut a forest musician in half any times.

It was pretty neat, Akane really needed the development and all that given her short participation in Restart.

The downside is how her strong willpower and bond with her family was the cause of her demise, she should have remember the Elf part in place of the Forest Musician.

I think it's a good thing since we can see a "new" side of Calamity Mary, even though at the end it was something about her and not about Magicaloid.

Its basically a dark humor side story where Calamity Mary throws a temper tantrum because she can't kill Hardgore Alice say its a pretty good thing though anime onlys might think its more edgy than funny

One of my favorite things about the series is how things were portrayed naturally and as it is, including combats. Combats is bloody, gritty, lethal and dangerous. That's just the way it is.

Anime should have left the Winterprison's fight as it is, then some of the complaints won't even exist.
