Pretty good. This is probably monthly right?

>the poor boy was completely alone for two months
fucking depressing

Weekly

That's a really fucking good first chapter.

Best first chapter I ever read.

That was really good. Looks like Ooima's art has improved too. More when?

The only difference between him and the posters on Sup Forums is the lack of internet access and the fact that he lived in the arctic circle.

Yeah, I'm gonna need an anime for this like, now. Though I imagine the likelihood of it getting one at some point is pretty big.
Already read it thrice over the day. I just love when stories open with narration like this. Thank god it's weekly.
Reminds me a lot of Spirit Migration too, which was also great.

I wonder what that hand on the first page is about.

Someone creating the sphere, maybe?

God?

I really hope this doesn't become a super long-running publication, since it seems as though it has a very clear end in mind. I don't want 200 chapters of wandering and It's (Its?) interactions with people.

KyoAni OVA adaptation soon

>it will meet the next one
Is someone gonna die every chapter?

>never ending journey
It's Double Arts all over again.

It reminds me a lot of Fire Punch's first chapter, albeit being better.

Hopefully it doesn't fly off the handle the same way that did.

If the impetus is death (which it might not be), then yes.

Seems so.

>manga ends with God closing his diary
If anything, it's very unlikely it'll get axed.

I don't like sad manga but I might follow this for a while to see where it goes.

>What a nice first chapter
Just like the Koe no Katachi oneshot. Expect this one to turn into shit too.

Very good concept and starting chapter, but I really wonder how it'll play out and if it can keep that quality.

Needs a movie by Yamada

>poor boy did not cut Johann's leash before dying

Movie arc soon.

Perfect theme for the chapter.

Ishidate or Fujita please

Have a little faith, maybe Yoshitoki learned from her mistakes.

goddamit, i didn't come here to feel!

also you are a cunt

I thought it would be the adventure of that boy and his "alien" wolf as they grew up together and the "alien" learned from the boy as he supported him.
I was not prepared for that.

never going to trust this author ever again, i'm going to check on spoilers next time , better than sink into depression like this

Saw where this was going as soon as his leg was injured.

I saw that that injury would end up being serious but i was hopeful the "alien" would heal it as his first step towards getting emotions or something.

I liked it this way. This feels like something that comes after the series has some length already, to give some context to where MC comes from and stuff, usually you don't get this type of content at the start.

To be fair I just re-read "The Snows of Kilimanjaro" so death by gangrene was on my mind.

That was a good start. I hope this is worth following.

Really enjoyed this.

There were bits of shameless exposition here and there but I guess it was necessary to give it this kind of start. What I'm curious about is whether "it" will be changing forms often, or if it will stay as the boy. Either way, I'm curious if the promotional image (OP's pic) is only for the first chapter or if somehow the story will continue with the boy and the wolf.

>In the next issue, it will meet the next one.
Its next form, perhaps?

Sounds like it, but I hope the author takes time with It in its various forms rather than shape-shifting often.

Or both.

Strong start.

I really don't like the narration in this, feels too hunterxhunter where it explained every single detail even when it was rather obvious. It only needed the first two pages and the last page, after that ever everything was implict.

I wonder where they got this idea from.

There is nothing new under the sun.

The real wolf dying bothers me more than it should.

Yeah what plays out if the immortal never finds the boy? Why wolf run away?

please speak english user

OK, what would happen to the boy if the immortal didn't come to his hut as a replacement wolf? Why did the original wolf run away in the first place?

Just sad things to think about.

>Why did the original wolf run away in the first place?
Well it probably got lost in the storms, or maybe even attempted to find the other villagers before trying to get back to its owner.

Holy crap this is sad

Huh, I'm surprised, this feels somewhat like an old SF novel. Definitely interesting, hopefully it'll not go on for too long and keeps up the quality.

The boy would probably be about ten times more miserable than he already is and might go insane from the sheer loneliness.

>or maybe even attempted to find the other villagers before trying to get back to its owner.
shit, this is likely and depressing

When will it change into a cute deaf girl

>mfw when its just star strings

a

what?

>that hell of a cliffhanger
So is there anything beyond the snow?

?

Considering it could be a rock and moss, it'll probably turn into a god damn planet.
