Like what? Yours? Because smiles and stuff.
/comfy/ memories of comrades who'd put their life on the line for you and the planet you live on
Because they're true friends.
>romansu ageru
>hohoemi no bakudan
Because older DB art is comfy.
I don't know
whos that guy next to roshi
I can't see Dragonball without seeing Bulma's panties.
ow the nostalgia
Because Dragonball is as comfy as it gets, sempai.
When i was a kid watching dragonball, the OP and ED were all in japanese.
So fucking comfy.
The production and performance are obviously way better, but I do think the simplified melody of the English version is a little more striking.
I haven't actually watched Dragonball. I watched some of Z when I was a teenager and my friends were into it, and I imagine Dragonball must be significantly better since it's like an episodic adventure show, right?
It's because everyone there fits their character so well.
Except for Bulma maybe. She's just like "oh hey i'm here"
I don't like that I'm sexually attracted to frieza in this picture
>implying that's not her character
Because it's happy people surrounded by friends, a true fantasy devoid of any sense of reality.
Frieza is bae
Dont know if im not getting some bait/trolling here but
Roshi's left - yamcha
Roshi's rigth - bulma
This was one of my earliest boners.
Why's this so high quality? Is it from a BD remaster or something?
Passion.
Something you don't see at DB Super, because there's no quality or passion from the artists for the drawings
it's from the path to power movie
There hasn't been passion in a long time, before super. It was tapering off at the frieza arc or some would argue the piccolo arc. Z was a financial triumph for toryama but a personal loss, gone were the adventuring and martial arts/magic, replaced by run of the mill anime violence and laser filled screaming matches of varying color pallets
>I imagine Dragonball must be significantly better since it's like an episodic adventure show, right?
Well, no, not really. It's not that different from Dragon Ball Z, it's like DBZ on a smaller scale, and with adventuring in-between fights. But it's still very much a fighting anime. I watched Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z in order as my first anime, so it's been a while, but I do remember the general order of the series. It's not episodic, it runs pretty much the same pacing as Dragon Ball Z. Maybe a bit faster, but part of what makes it comfy is being able to sit down and watch for hours the adventure and fights of this little retarded kid. I think it makes a much bigger impact when you watched the entire series and saw Goku grow up, you appreciate the series and his character a lot more, from what I can tell between people who only saw DBZ and people who saw both in order.
Those pictures are comfy because the characters are acting naturally.
I disagree, Dragon Ball as a whole reached its peak with the Frieza arc, and then very slowly declined until the end of the cell arc, when it went lost it's way. Gokus character arc cannot be complete if you throw out the first 1/3 of DBZ, and while it is different, it's still pretty good. The Buu saga is what really tarnished the series.
>it runs at pretty much the same pace as Dragon Ball Z
No it doesn't. The longest single fight in Dragon Ball is about five episodes and that's the last one against Piccolo, most fights are over in one or two towards the end.
How many episodes does Goku spend fighting Frieza? Like, twenty?
The feel is different. Dragon Ball is more of an adventure and a progressive story, even if fighting is heavily involved. It's because until Piccolo shows up there isn't really a singular villain and so Goku and co. are fighting somebody different every time.
If you contrast the Red Ribbon Army saga with one of the DBZ sagas, the goal of the RRAS wasn't to beat General Red, it was to collect the Four Star Dragonball, Goku just happened to beat up every single member of the RRA along the way (and there were a lot of members). In DBZ, a saga will typically be about training to take down a single or small number of opponents and then fighting them for 10+ episodes.
I said it tapered, not ended entirety.
I agree though, should have ended after frieza. When goku's accomplishments meant something. Before super saiyan became a skill instead of a person. Also, while I'm ranting, fuck the bardock movie for ruining goku's character. Instead of being a nobody who got stronger he's the son of another super saiyan.
this shit is hideous
but it's a cute concept or whatever
You're just jealous of his perfect angling skills.
...
Are they?
WASA WASA
...
This looks comfy as all fuck. I don't even know what it is, looks like some spanish artbook, but somehow I can also feel nostalgia looking at it.
Fuck off you retarded 12 year old spic.
The Buu saga actually brought back the magic, the adventure, the mystery. It even had the most powerful fight HALFWAY the saga. A complete flip on the typical storyline.
You're so fucking retarded.
What the fuck does super saiyan even fucking mean? It is just a powerup that Goku used. Quit being such an autistic cunt.
>hurr durr muh gokus accomplishment
Willing to bet Toriyama turns just about every saiyan into a super saiyan these days specifically to fuck with autistic "fans" like you.
Because they're taken before and/or after shit goes down
Also in this picture's case, it was back when Dragonball was a lot simpler and lighthearted
I think Goku's "degradation" from protector of the Earth to strongest goof in the universe is partially because the Z fighters are collectively strong enough to (somewhat) stand up to just about any threat.
If Frieza hadn't trained the RoF saga would have been a half episode gag.
And let's not forget that Sorbet specifically wanted a stealthy insertion to grab the dragon balls because he was afraid of the Z fighters.

Liking Z or DB is a big time matter of personal preference
1980's thing
It only gets comfier and comfier
There is new one that is comfy too
Didn't Bulma dump Yamcha before the start of DBZ?
lmao
>12 year old spic.
Amerifat detected
Horrible!
And Mr Satan's head is getting bigger every episode
Yes, but I think they kept fucking until Bulma ditched him for space monkey cock.
Have you this one?
I miss launch
>"should've ended at X" plebs hating on Buu saga
Buu saga is what made DB complete.
wow
Buu saga isn't canon
That's pretty cool
Me too
i remember the first time i masturbated, it was done while thinking about bulma
But muh action show!
getting some mad feels in this thread guys :')
Who?
>only two of those are relevant now
I don't think it's a question of "relevant" but those characters already accomplished what they were made for.
