In short, their "economic miracle" was merely stabilization, which was accomplished by Hjalmar Schacht, who wasn't a Nazi.
Schacht was booted out in 1936 because he opposed rearmament and other policies, and Goering was put in his place. From then on, their economy existed to produce weapons of war, and they spent much more than they could.
Their problems were alleviated a bit by seizing Austriana and Czech gold, but after that there were no more quick bucks and if war didn't happen, their economy would melt down in a few years.
It was even worse than Soviet position in 80's.
