Wait, how did he get over Kamina's death?

Wait, how did he get over Kamina's death?
I don't understand.

He got a waifu.

/thread

Cute little kitten called Nia

With his drill.

Shit happens and you get over it, what are you confused about?

He remembered one of Kamina's lines telling him to believe in himself and suddenly he was better? Then he told Nia "he understands"?
The whole ordeal was pretty confusing desu

>He remembered one of Kamina's lines telling him to believe in himself
What part about believing in the you that believes in yourself is so hard to understand? Also Lagann appeared when he remembered so like, fuck, that's it.

Don't think, feel.

he got a gf

...

No user you must feel, not imasine.

Because he realized that Kamina will live on in his heart, and on his back!

All I feel is confusion and a boner for Yoko

It's called
Growing up You should try it

yoko is a dirty roastie

go home robotard

...

If Getter Robo was so good, why did it copy Gurren Lagann?

No one ever gets over the death of a loved one. As soon as soon as someone you love dies you'll be super depressed forever and never accomplish anything.

need to rewatch this again tbqh

I really like Team Dai-Gurren. The show gets kinda boring when Simon's on screen desu.

You're just as bad as that fag is

>Wait, how did he get over Kamina's death?
Trademark Gainax forced character development

Jeez user did you not watch the show?

daam it's been a year since I rewatched it
I think I will re watch again it is too fucking fun

Realized he is more than just what he meant to Kamina. It's kind of the entire thing he tried to teach him before dying.

>believe in the me who believes in you
>believe in the you who believes in you
First Kamina tells him to trust in him. Then he tells him, after his growth as a person, to trust in himself. First he indirectly tells him to believe in himself, then he says it more directly. During a time of stress when a loved one was in danger Simon truly understood.

that's because you're a casual faggot

what makes ttgl so good? and don't even start with le Sup Forumseddit bogeyman, that shit is legit

I spotted the Combattler V reference, and I recognize the explosions that mimic the CEL animated explosions of the 70s.
Fight me.

Kiyal and Leite best girls

It was a perfect storm: Imaishi with his craziness, Nakashima writing, Gainax (that pretty much created Imaishi possible in the first place) and the good animators that Gainax had.

Too bad I don't see anything like Gurren Lagann happening again anytime soon. Trigger is lazy and isn't nearly as talented as Gainax once was, and Gainax itself is dead and its good people scattered in other studios.

My nigga

Its enjoyable. Nothing really has stuck out to me as good aside from episode 8, but nothing particularly terrible except for Simon's awkward development. I'm about to venture into the infamously worse timeskip though. Kinda wish they took Simon out completely and just had a bunch of random humans stealing shit and rebelling against the Spiral King. Stupidity is even cooler with teamwork.

>forced
I'm not going to claim anything in the show was great, because it wasn't by any means, but "forced" is an acting criticism referring to someone actually forcing themselves to do something instead of naturally doing it. The word you and a million other morons are looking for is "contrived".

It's Diebuster except less garbage.
