Anime when?

anime when?

never

Not enough cute loli girls to get an anime desu.

I don't want my manga series I like to be turned into fucking CGI shit like Berserk or new Blame movie so hopefuly never

I think some... uhm... arrangements could be made.

Fuck off with your ellipses

>shit will FINALLY get interesting
thanks god

Well they have have a farming simulator game on steam so they can probably spin it to that crowd.

Why would Yukimura want an anime adaptation of his work after all the shit that happened in the Planetes anime?

>Season 1: Prologue
>Season 2: Farmland
The secondary tears would be glorious

I didn't watch the Planetes anime, what did they do?

I don't know if you're just adding that image for comedic value or what, but MU has that "N/A" (or sometimes "Starts at Chapter 1" and no mention of the end) for a ton of anime adaptations regardless of whether they have original plotlines or not. People just don't tend to bother with that section, I think.

Thread's over

2017 same with Vagabond.

Inserted like 10 different anime-only characters, played up stupid hammy middle-management comedy, removed nearly all of Hachimaki's isolation and the isolation of the Toy Box in general. It also removed the very key scene of Hachimaki saving the astronaut from Ukraine only to end up being saved by the Toy Box crew and full-out pleading for their help. That was the moment where Hachimaki realizes that he couldn't do everything on his own and was a huuuuge factor to his growth as a character. Instead the anime replaced it with an edgy scene of Tanabe having to save some anime-only terrorist chick.

In this case it's a visual representation of just how little respect the anime had to the source material. The very first episode was Tanabe having conversations with characters that are nowhere to be found in the source material.

There's no way Yukimura would consent to having another adaptation after seeing the sheer disrespect put forth in the Planetes anime.

Depends on the studio involved. Also, I'm not sure it's his call, but his publisher's.

manga rips from volume 4+ when?

I don't think he's that mad about it. Didn't he draw an anime-only character in one of those 4koma extras?

>There's no way Yukimura would consent to having another adaptation after seeing the sheer disrespect put forth in the Planetes anime.
That seems like a big assumption.

In Japan, the original creator has full control of his property. Yukimura would have to personally approve of a Vinland Saga adaptation.

Did you saw what they did to Kingdom?

This, pretty much.

Both the anime and the manga were stellar, no pun intended. The anime adapts the spirit and the setting just fine. Different mediums have different needs.

Pray tell, other than Claire, what did any of the other anime-only characters add to the 'spirit' of Planetes? Do you honestly think the 'spirit' of Planetes had fucking anything to do with incompetent middle-managers or space ninjas?

I hate it when people who obviously never read the manga comment as if they did. Cause Planetes didn't need any fucking stupid comic relief characters. That completely detracts from the portrayal of The Toy Box crew being completely isolated from everything else.

What did the autistic guy add to the "spirit" of the manga?

Also, don't say pray tell, it makes you sound like some renfair faggot.

Pray tell is used in an condescending tone, not some medieval dialogue you stupid fuck.

If you have to justify it, it's already too late, you're a fag. Sorry if I hurt your feelings, maybe go watch a joust to cheer yourself up.

Never i hope. Anime won't do this manga justice.

So you have no defense of the anime in terms of how it adapts the spirit of the manga?

Gee, you shouldn't post a comment if you can't even put up a measly defense. Now fuck off and read the manga if you want to attempt to try again another time
