It still makes sense if Lulu get brought back. One consistent theme is that the universe conspired to screw him over. So it would make perfect sense that the ONE time he wanted to kill himself, that he would end up failing to die.

Lulu was 100% trying to commit suicide. Much like what Suzaku tried to do several times. And just like Suzaku, Lulu will be denied the sweet escape of death.
