Truth is, lets say a business runs some public areas like roads to their shopping center etc, then unless its a gated or closed community everyone can freely walk around. However the purchase or renting of land requires the use and maintenence of property rights. Since the society will be decentralized, its very very unlikely that one entity will own the border around an entire country/continent unless done through a coalition of people/businesses.
It all relies on community standards, property rights, the lack of a welfare state and the necessity to work, the necessity to participate in a society and its culture/community, the necessity to take responsibility for people invited to a society whether it be businesses making sure workers don't do illegal shit or individuals being held accountable. Mises used logic and deductive reasoning to work out a complete model for a free society. Rothbard did not improve on Mises by adopting anarchism, he removed the cornerstone to the entire model! He made an egregious error by removing the state and presuming the existence of law without any authorities.
In the absence of government, private property rights do not win by default. Every faction would have their own ideas about what the rules of society should be. Many people would forcefully refuse to respect private property. Instead of being "private," all property would become contested.
I think this is an important debate because we don't present a uniform ideal to the public. Ancaps also tend to not support political action, which cripples our small movement. After a debt crisis, there will be a power struggle between us and the socialists. The supporters of liberty and private property will need to pull together to win the ensuing political struggle.
