They aren't the only ones to do this. Taking designs and changing them for various reasons is part of why manga --> anime adaptations are so mediocre right now.

Nah, it's a departure from the textual description of the armor or the more canonical manga design.

Again, it's a case of making stuff cute/sexy for the sake of titillating the audience instead of adhering to the source material. Madhouse did good on a lot of designs but small things like this really stick out to me.

And in the case of A-1 it's a problem of the studio allowing their lead artists to impose their styles over the original artists style. (See Demi-chan)

The newest episode of DBS looked about the same.

But the reason is because just like a lot of Toei shows, Precure looks like shit most of the time and then spends its budget on high priority episodes.

Saint Seiya Omega was the same way. It looked like shit 90% of the time but the priority episodes(usually ones animated by Umakoshi) tended to look really good animation-wise.

It's just how Modern Toei does things. It's not limited to just DBS.

Pretty enjoyable as of late. They are basically driving around in a humvee having adventures. Mage girl is seeking some form of title and that's their current destination. Then happened and we've been without chapters since.

Dropped becouse of cathing up with novels, or dropped by translators?

I think catching up with the novels /ak/ still releases other series they are translating and I don't remember any announcements about dropping the series on their part.

Honestly the amazing thing about GATE is how it went from pretty bad, overly nationalistic and poorly written, to being genuinely enjoyable.
