Delinquent Thread It's been ages since we've had one of these.
New Shonan Junai Gumi chapters, the scan gap is finally being closed, we'll finally be able to read this manga from start to finish and actually know what's going on.
Bakuon Rettou seems to be carrying along just fine, translator-kun is doing a great job as always.
They need to finish translating Bebop High School.
And I mean the manga, anime, and live action TV show.

I finally found and bought the volume of Rookies I was missing. Now to start reading.
Charles Adams
Saizen has been really slow with the anime. But I trust them. Apparently most of the manga is translated by HnG they're just making sure the styling and such is good.
Speaking of the BHS anime, new episode up. Go watch it.
Gavin Russell
Superior delinquent oneesan.
William Powell

Jaxson Lee
Aside from the OVA, was there ever an animated form of Crows? I grew up reading Crows, but I've only seen the OVA.
Adrian Hughes
Reminder to listen to yankii-core whilst reading Crows and Worst, it'll make it much more enjoyable.
Just the two OVAs.
Jeremiah Torres
AHHH? NANDA, KORRA?
Asher Roberts
What is a delinquent?
Carter Walker
Got any good links for yankii-core? Also, fuck.
At least the Crows Zero live action movies were enjoyable.
Luis Bailey
This is a delinquent The movies are pretty fun, kinda weird though, I would have just preferred Live Actions of the original manga.
A bunch of songs by these two bands are directly referenced in stuff like RokuBlues and Crows. Hirosii is a massive fan of The Street Beats and I think they make a bunch of cameos in Crows.
Nicholas Ramirez
Wasn't there that punk rock band that sung about delinquents?
Juan Hill
I wouldn't mind seeing a live action version of Harumichi's last fight with Rindaman, that'd be amazing. Who'd even play them now though? Most of Japan's younger actors are all bishounen.
Cooper Anderson
True, I can't think of anyone who could play them in current Japanese cinema. Maybe some of the guys who were in Blue Spring? Or just get some genuine high schoolers.
Christian Lee
What other good series are there that revolve around delinquents? I've finished Crows and Worst several times now, and I'm looking into Drop at the moment
Nathan Garcia
Shonan Junai Gumi, Kyou Kara Ore Wa!!, Rokudenashi Blues, Rookies, Bakuon Rettou and a bunch of others.
Someone got the chart?
Logan Collins
Bumping, kora
Hudson Adams
Ora
Levi Green
Good thing we built a chart specifically for this.
Joseph Stewart
Anyone got it?
Lincoln Perez
found it on the delinquent scans blog
Jace Johnson
>delinquent scans blog Is Fly Daddy Fly any good?
Oliver Ross
>Someone other than me has made a delinquent manga thread in post KKOW dump times. I have been waiting for this. I can't wait for the final few volumes of Bakuon Rettou to be done.
I am almost certain that one of the character designers on that worked on Sakigake Otokojuku anime since models look really similar but I can't find who.
I thought it was really good. It's short as well.
Tyler Reyes
I threw a wad of paper at the back of my teacher's head today
Isaac Long
On the off chance that Chartfag is around, I've been meaning to say for a while that this has Shonan Seven in both the lower tier and translated tier.
Nathaniel Sullivan
I hope she didn't see me
Liam Foster
Sweet, I've been looking for this.
Connor Phillips
>Non Jap and French readers will never know the glory of the GOAT shounen fighting manga.
Feels bad.
Noah Torres
How many of those are about biker delinquents? Any essential biker delinquents one to recommend? I've read Shonan Junai Gumi and it was cool
Josiah Gray
...
Joshua Rivera
The best Manga that are specifically about Bosozoku are Bakuon Rettou and Hot Road, both are pretty realistic and both are fucking amazing. I didn't really like SJG desu.
Manga which fairly heavily feature Bosozoku are Crows, Worst, Shonan Bakusozoku, Arakure Knight, Chikin - "Drop" Zenya no Monogatari, Bakugyaku Kazoku (I think), Bad Boys (I think) and Shibatora to a slightly lesser extent.
Seriously man, Hot Road is amazing.
Lincoln Adams
Thank you!
Nicholas Garcia
Shonan Junai Gumi is still being translated or what? Been years since i last read it and i remember there was still a lot of chapters untranslated
Levi Richardson
Any recent delinquents appearing in anything?
There's a delinquent guy in All Out!!, which is the only obvious one I can think of other than Josuke and Okuyasu in DiU.
Parker Edwards
Yeah, the first post is how that chapters from 125-130 have been translated.
Benjamin Watson
>Project Bite Me still dead I always worry that fucker will come back and ruin everything.
Eli Adams
They are more to do with cars but there's also Naniwa Tomoare, Shakotan Boogie and Saru Lock features a gang which seem to have a few cars and bikes in it.
>Barely any of this available in English WHY.
Lucas Walker
Stupid question but who's doing those SJG scans? Nothing on MU and Nosajj don't look like they have updated with it recently.
Brody Evans
A friend kept asking me to get my scanlation group to do Shakotan Boogie but it's not exactly within the territory of stuff we want to do..
Owen Ward
Project Shonan Junai Gumi on Manga Fox. The new chapters are on madokami as well.
Oliver Ramirez
You mean in non-delinquent series? I always say read/watch Sakamoto desu ga because the delinquents in his school are his closest buddies.
Hudson Johnson
What sort of thing does your scanlation group do?
My opinion is that someone should scanlate the rest of Rokudenashi Blues and Bad Boys at some point. In terms of sales, they are easily the best selling delinquent manga of all time, it's a shame two wildly popular series have no exposure in English speaking countries. Also Masanori Morita is the best manga artist of all time, or at least definitely second best.
I don't know why but I also want to read Otokogumi and Ai To Makoto a lot, I really like that old school sort of manga on the whole. I'd like to see Otoko Ippiki Gaki Daishou get done because it's the oldest big delinquent series (Yuyake Banchou is a older but I don't think it's nearly as famous whereas Otoko Ippiki Gaki Daishou was WSJ flagship series when it started and in their 40 years of Jump collective they recognised it as the biggest manga in the first decade of Jump).
Wyatt Diaz
Thanks.
That reminds me that Hayabusa was getting a spin-off manga, still heard nothing about it.
His mum was also a sukeban by the looks of it.
Brandon Price
Worst could have been so much better but the end of it just... ends. Still enjoy it though
Isaac Williams
His spinoff is more a single oneshot chapter than a whole manga. The guy who worked on Sakamoto scanlations had said the scanning/cleaning is done but still needs a translator.
Jayden Robinson
Didn't the guy on tumblr say he was gonna stop doing RokuBlues after he did the Onizuka arc?
Easton Bailey
I quite like the end of Worst, the 7 vs 7 thing worked out nicely except it annoyed me massively that Shougo was the one to get the glory going up against Bisuko, and we didn't properly get a Hana vs Bisuko fight whereas in Crows we got Bouya vs Rindaman and Bouya vs Taso about both were amazing.
I know people like to shit on it but Crows is genuinely awesome. It does a lot of things really well and I think the artwork is quite nice. In particular, I like that most people in Takahashi Hiroshi manga don't get much of a backstory and everything is focused on the here and now, which is a realistic way of thinking for any 16/17/18 year old. Also he choreographs fights in a really good way, no fancy martial arts and shit, just punching and wrestling,
William Brown
I figured it might be a one shot but I think I read it originally as spin off manga and foolishly hoped it was going to be a volume or something.
I think so. Time to learn French aniki.
Parker Brooks
Agreed man can make amazing fights. It just felt like in the end there was still one big fight missing.
Asher Jones
That's what I meant when I said we never got Hana vs Bisuko properly.
I also thought Worst sucked off The Front of the Armament too much when, with the exception of Tesshou, everyone was cooler in it in Crows than in Worst, and that everyone in Hanagumi, Housen and Sera and Abo were more interesting than them as well.
Although the Worst Gaiden volume which looked at the first generation of TFOA was nice.
Andrew Murphy
I actually have planned to learn French just in case.
Also the Kiku one shot by Hiroshi is amazing.
Oliver Harris
I wish I had remembered the French I was forced to learn in school, I knew enough of it to do really well in exams. And then I could read all the shitload of manga available in French.
Oh yeah nice catch, I'll fix it one of these days, after all, the chart will require update till the end of days for scanlations that die or emerge. Thanks.
It's pretty good, nothing crazy but solid and enjoyable, also inspirational with the ideas of youth, growth and delinquency.
Hot Road deserves an storytime one of these days. Short enough and damn good worth for a re-read.
I beg you, Shakotan Boogie looks fuckiiing sweeeeeet man.
People shit on Crows? Pretty sure people just shit on some of his other stuff, Crows is pretty beloved.
Well too bad I got to go right when there's a delinquent thread, well, maybe next time.
William Brooks
Is that Yusuke and Kuwabara?
Liam Butler
Anyone who hasn't read Kongou Banchou needs to read Kongou Bonchou.
Yes, same mangaka as Nanatsu no Taizai.
Zachary Cooper
Man, that's ironic. My friend just introduced me to this, and I'm already on chapter 60. It's pretty badass.
Thank you for this! I didn't think the thread would still be up for this.
Landon Wright
Maeda is way more iconic then anyone in YYH.

Christopher Reyes
i still at Crows vol. 11, but why does all the characters from Worst looks like dead inside? The art just looks like too different
