Argentine sub lost. Anyone else interested?

So as far as weaponized autism projects go this one looks pretty simple. The Kursk and geolocating the Kursk is a good textbook study to train newfags. The sub likely hit a ridge or had a engine fire underway.

So, do we want to take this on ?

Not really.

they got subs?

Probably ran into the wreck of the Belgrano.

wait, is that picture implying a woman was operating the sub?

Its on the moon.

was it driving backwards ?

who cares about niggers?

We had a woman in a sub here recently, sadly she didn't make it.

IGNORE these threads the fucking kikes don’t want you looking into the JFK files

I'm a Pub sub kinda guy

Who gives a shit? It probably fell apart like every other piece of inventory the argies have. Has anyone seen the actual state of their armed forces over the last couple of years?

how many times a day do you think a female sailor has sex?

>sadly

Argentina has submarines? Isn't their flagship a fucking sailboat?

Everyone knows it was you, Anglo.

and, what are you gonna do about it?

We tried learning from the British but got it wrong

>Argentina

It's probably floating some place that doesn't belong to them.

>had

Imagine what it must be like being locked inside a huge metal tube hundreds of meters below the surface and experiencing some kind of technical failure, seeing it drop to the ocean floor and collapse into itself because of the water pressure while there's nothing you can do

hearty kek

Da' fuq did you do harry? We told you to stop teasing the spackers! And you go and quad on them!

Gotcha!

>"It's not that it's lost," he said. "For it to be lost we'd have to look for it and not find it."
If you don't look for them they arent dead!

Woman commands sub, sub disappears w/all hands, fuckin JUST

Odds are you'd never even know the end had arrived. Your death would happen so quickly your brain wouldn't have a chance to realize it was happening.

>hundreds of meters below the surface
Most subs don't go that deep.
Nuclear attack submarines dive deepest, and even they only go about 500 meters down.

I have a friend who served on a US sub who offered his opinion on women on subs.

He said that being underwater for extended periods of time is one of the most soul-crushing experiences. He worked 48 hour shifts, got bored with everyone else on board after hearing everyone's life story 50 times, and like everyone gave no shit about appearance or hygiene. He said that putting a woman in that situation when young men are at their worst would just make somebody go berserk.

Not common to survive

Second story is pretty cool.

Your mother, she cares alot.

Sending help asap......fucking argies lossing two day to call for help!.

>“The latest official and reliable information is that the submarine has not yet been found. It’s not that it’s lost: to be lost you’d have to look for it – and not find it,” he said.

Fucking lol

How about some sauce on this sub? And I don't mean mayo.

Neat. I can sea the isle of shoals from my living room

thats why the navy has such a high turn over rate. Women are in all surface ships now.

...

Yawn

Wow, look at that cutting edge technology. I don't get how socialism fails everywhere and in every form it's ever been tried.

kawaii

ARA San Juan
go nuts

That's horrifying, imagine being alive down there. How can we help

Jesus they need to clean that hull, the amount of drag it creates from a tiny amount of shit is unreal

Scuttleled to warrant a budget increase to include aircraft tracker capability.

Admiral LARPing

Thanks.
And you're not white.

yeah, thank god

...

>Argentine

If you hadn't kept them from enjoying the nice Pacific ocean this wouldn't have happened.

Why do you communists lord all the nice beachfront property over the argies?

We had a NASA P-3 Orion not far away doing Antarctic magnetic anomaly research that has been rerouted for the search.

Don't Argies have EPIRS on their shit?

They’re still working on the resurfacing part.

>quads of truth
we shouldnt have stopped at port stanley

And nothing of value was lost.

so? Just go to subway and buy another foot long.

I'm a submariner. I hope they find my brothers soon.

Unfortunately, these situations rarely end with a happy story.

Cold as ice.

Shortly after WW2.
Nazi sub shows up in Argentina.
Full of teenagers, oldest was 21.
Full of drums of cigarettes.
A.H. hated smokers.

Former subfag here, seconding your friend's experience. It's even worse when you stack on the actual living conditions, most enlisted don't even get their own bed to sleep in. You're sharing your bed with two other guys AND everyone's dirty laundry. God have mercy on your soul if the washer/dryer breaks (which happens often)

tbqh it's not even a woman's ability in the workplace that I have a problem with, it's other guys not being able to handle their own shit with a woman in the fray, it's like everyone stops using the blood in their top noggin and has to prove their manhood to become the chick's primary beta orbiter. Saw numerous cases of this while we were in shipyard for repairs.

Check the Falklands?

Friendly reminder that a few good bomb fuses and British would be humiliated.
Not just humiliated, humiliated by the weakest arm of Argentinian armed forces, that didn't even know invasion was going to happen until like a month before it happened.

Subfag here. Hotracking was the worst.

What sub sank the HMS Atlantic Conveyor?

Go away CIA

Well it has some likeness with Swedish 60s or early 70s subs, was it made at Kockums Sweden in the 60s?

You lose your capital ship you lose the war.

Those aren't bad losses by the British considering that the majority of the Argentine Navy hid in port like a bunch of little pussies.

Kraut build: launched in 1985, in service 1986.

It's a German sub. Diesel subs generally look similar today.

Origin: Germany (Thyssen Nordsewerke) 1983

It's an 83 Sub.

The Germans make good u-boats.

they let a women drive it ?

Fuck no.

I got out of the Navy before women got to my boat.

>American WW2 cruiser
>capital ship
Well given how Falklands was nothing but a diversion from political problems, they didn't want to risk too much.
They sent some conscripts and told the aviation to do what they can. They weren't even involved in the planing.
Despite all this, few properly set bomb fuses and British would be forced to withdraw on account of losing half of their warships.

Sure, but I doubt the Argies do good maintenance and 32 years in salt water does a hull bad.

fuck i love yo Sup Forums

anyway this is an interesting project considering the recent elite happenings and fact that argentina is (memes aside) jew/rothschild haven state.

I wouldnt know the first place to look though. i guess info on the sub and maintenance records would be easily accessible

just like aircraft if one goes down its typically pilot error or system failure

who was on it, whats theyre background?
when was it built? who sub(kek)contracted the parts

etc.

Interesting links thanks

It's been lost for more than 48 hours already. Lost with all hands.

Oh I didn't realize how small it was.

is it a nuke sub?

>Her mid-life refit was carried out in Argentina between 2008 and 2013
the Navy and most of the armed forces have next to no budget, to make sure government can pay for El Brayan and La Yenny welfare, but they still do the maintenance for the already existing equipment tho.

It was a gun cruiser in 80's dude, to call it a ''capital ship'' is disingenuous. Besides, Argies had an airplane carrier (British built).

Correct.

I'm just racking my brain to think about what could have gone wrong?

If it was flooding they could Emergency Blow.
If it was fire they could probably still surface.
It's not a nuclear problem because it's diesel.

Whatever happened it must have been sudden and unexpected. Hitting an underwater seamount, catastrophic accident (torpedo detonation), or a few others.

As a submariner, we're trained for things like fires and flooding and if it's serious we'll immediately surface by conventional means or emergency blow. We'll also send off an emergency message by Ultra Low Frequency (ULF) to home port.

This leads me to believe that if something happened to it that it was something so catastrophic that it sunk the boat almost immediately.

So it had a ramp then.

They are on route to attack New York, they will reach their destination in 5 years more or less!

Perhaps?

Diesel-electric.

prayers activated

Quads don't lie.

>ARA 25 de Mayo
>Her last pre-Falklands refit occurred during 1981, when she received an update to her radar, arresting gear, steam catapult and...

Don't submarines carry emergency beacons that can be picked up by satellites? If the submarine ran into trouble wouldn't they be expected to deploy their beacons?

They do, but they have to be activated. On my sub it was located right next to the escape hatches.

They work two ways. They send out a beacon that can be triangulated in space, and they also can be found by any radio equipment detecting device....which is why they aren't activated until necessary.

If they had it going 24 hours a day then they could be tracked, so that's why they don't activate them until needed.

Ultra low sulpher fuel...
Valves burned, lost power.
Threw rod through block and fractured hull.
FYI.
Dump non detergent sae 30 wgt. oil into ULS fuel to pump up the BTU's and oil it again.
This shitty fuel is killing our entire maritime diesel fleet.

...

A thrown rod isn't going to puncture HY-80.

Respect dude , I am ex services and I think it is Morally bankrupt of any Nation to put women in frontline roles , and that is not sexist its humanitarian .

Source

you forget them damn exocets the froggies sold them

Once fuel contaminates the oil, and starts igniting from under the pistons and the Mann runs away til it grenades it will.
A run away diesel is a bomb.
blow that sub like a beer can guaranteed.

>What would have been the first battle between aircraft carriers since World War II did not take place, as light winds prevented the heavily loaded jets from being launched.

Ironically lost the war due to lack of ramp.
