So we all know, and its now becoming a big meme, that soy makes men into pussies, /fit/ has been on about this for years, and I have, as a result, been avoiding soy for that same amount of time, including cutting out delicious things like ponzu sauce.

I am subscribed to a japanese chef on youtube, and notice that nearly everything he makes (even traditional meals) have soy in them, after being frustrated and looking for soy alternatives, I find out that soy sauce is medieval, and even tofu was consumed by the han chinese.
However, when I look at japan before and for a short time after ww2, I still see men, I see fit men with facial hair and masculine features, not the incels and impotent half-women we find today...the easy conclusion would be that they became "soyboys", but considering they apparently ate plenty of soy before this period, what could it be?
Were there dietary changes?
Did the west find some way to poison them?
Is there something different about soy now?

Heres to problem though, theres nothing "minor" about soy consumption in the united states, and especially in japan.
If you try to eat anywhere in japan (korea too, actually) on even the slightest budget, your options are soy, soy with potatoes, or soy with meat.
On top of that, look at modern jap sportsman compared with pre ww2 or american born, even the fucking weight lifters have like twice the size.

However, the biggest factor is lack of exercise. There are movements in the west that are "against fat shaming" or whatnot, which changes society's view on fat people as a whole. Exercising is portrayed as something dumb people with criminalistic tendencies do.
