I ran it on a baby and it made them look fucked up
And yes the baby had no make up.
Although as I type this I know the child had lotion on so maybe it removed the lotion?

It's neither questionable nor magic and it's like a buck.
It employs face recognition then looks for certain darker parts around the features and then interpolates between those parts and unaffected lines or sections of lines.
In many cases we know it's accurate because we know what the subject looks like without makeup. In other cases it mistakes subtle form-shadows as makeup and subs what isnt actually there for something else and it changes the image "incorrectly".
