Thinking about the phrase Q used to describe the information drops. Specifically Q used "breadcrumbs."
We know that other references to folk tales (Snow White, Alice, 7 Dwarfs etc) have been used throughout these posts. I took a look at the tale in which the breadcrumbs are used.
Hansel and Gretel. In that tale, The childrens' stepmother convinces the father to abandon his children in the forest and due to breadcrumbs being used to mark the way back having been eaten by the forest animals, the children end up at the witches house that is made of candy.
The witch fatten up the kids and then try to get them into the oven for cooking. The children, instead, trick the witch and she ends up in the oven and cooked.
The children take some of the witches wealth and head back home to find that the stepmother is dead and remonstrate the father to never abandon them again.
If it weren't for the breadcrumbs being eaten by the forest animals, the children would never have gotten lost nor would they have found the witches hut from which to gain the wealth they took back to their families.
