The Digimon Tri movie that was ruined by a couple of whales in the back who commentated the entire time
...
Ponyo and it wasn't that good.
Paprika.
I was tempted to see Doukyuusei until I realized that the theater was going to be filled with smelly, shrieking fujoshit.
Kaguya-hime, which was ruined by some asshole who talked through the entire thing. Movie theatres are the fucking worst unless there's nobody else there.
Love Live movie
Literally the only one I saw in theaters, all other films usually make it too late when BD subs are already downloadable
Faggot alert
...
I've never seen one because my shitty country don't bring good anime movies to theaters, only Naruto and Dragon Ball.
How was it? And in what country?
The wind rises a year ago
Pokemon 2000.
Saw Belladonna of Sadness, The Red Turtle and A Silent Voice at a film festival.
The first Pokémon movie.
Also saw this today.
Spirited Away
Have only seen two in theaters, first was a dubbed Yu-Gi-Oh! movie I saw when I was alot younger that came with two free cards, shit was great.
Last one was fairly recently, saw DBZ Resurrection F with some friends and had fun. We all got nostalgic and got drunk after.
>US gets Girls und Panzer Der Film from November 18 - 24
>Cineplex lists it as December 5th for Canada
>takes down the page for a few days
>puts it back up as January 19, 2017
Not as bad as the date difference between the US and Canada for Love Live! and Kizumonogatari but come on.
OCEAN MAN
Kizu on oct 29th
I watched Kiki's Delivery Service at the Alamo last week, and the second Kizu movie there a few weeks before that.
Seeing Kimi no Na Wa next week, there's a cinema that's always empty showing it with subs.
None, they don't show anime movies here. I'll go see the live action GitS if it's showing here though.
Love Live film. Cried during the ending/credits. Was fantastic.
Last thing I saw was Kizu part 2. I'm hoping we get Kimi no Na Wa and Koe no Katachi somewhere near Atlanta too. I'd rather see them in theaters than watch BD rips.
It's probably going to be showing here too, but I'd rather die than watch that abomination. Also the theatre is going to be filled with hipster kid and that kind of bullshit.
None. Missed my chance to watch the HxH movie years ago.
But I plan to see Kimi no Na Wa if they plan to release it next month near my city.
Man I'm so jelly that you guys get so many anime movies in your countries. I have to be thankful that Dragon Ball and maybe Miyazaki movies get screened in my country.
Your Name.
Non Dubbed Omoide Poroporo was played here because of the releasing of the dubbed version.
First Michael Bay Transformers movie
>only shonenshit shown in theaters
Flipfag ka?
Was this the San Jose screening?
Nothing because I don't watch cartoon
Just got back from it
8/10, good to see te Rabbit team not suck for once.
>mfw the GUP movie was in 2:35.1 scope aspect ratio as well
More anime films need to be made in that format
No
Ressurection of F.
Anime movies on theaters are not a common thing were I live.
Love live movie
Any good?
Majestic Prince movie
Way better than I expected it to be
Can't wait to see it again when it's already subbed
Never seen an anime in theaters, now that I think of it. I'll probably see Kimi no Na Wa in a theater though, provided it shows up close enough to where I live (they showed Shin Godzilla in a theater about 20 minutes away from me, so hopefully Kimi will show up there too)
I loved it
I couldn't stop crying since they started singing sunny day song till the very end
Bokutachi wa Hitotsu no Hikari destroyed me
They're finally showing anime in theaters where I'm at.
Here's hoping Kizu 3 would get here too if my city got GuP of all things
Also started watching now. Good god the dub sucks so far
I've never seen anime in theaters.
The only one I'd think about seeing is Koe no Katachi, too bad it won't ever be released in theaters in my country.
I don't know where you live but if you're anywhere near a country showing Koe no Katachi go see it. I drove from Spain to Scotland to watch it and it was worth every second.
Her voice was actually kinda cute.
The Yu Gi Oh one with final countdown. Fuck that's at least 10 years, I saw it when I was a kid. I remember jack shit about it.
Kizu 2. Everyone there looked like a humongous faggot except me.
Rebellion Story. When an ad came on with dub voices, there was a collective groan of disgust from the audience. It was great.
Pokemon 17 years ago
>watching Love Live dubbed
>Ponyo
>not that good
Good thing you didn't watch it when it was re-released in select theaters because that shit aged like rotten milk.
never been to a movie theater in my life and never will
It can't be THAT bad.
Mine was The Wind Rises, and same.
If someone is talking during the movie, call a staff member and get them thrown out. Don't be a pansy.
some of them just didn't want to miss out on the movie.
Also, Alamo Drafthouse is the only pace that is strict as fuck about that rule.
Bakemono no Ko, I only knew about it because a friend invited me. It was okay.
Kizu 2. Everyone there looked like a humongous faggot except for one obviously autistic manchild.
I don't think I've even seen a theater that was airing an anime.
Steamboy, I guess, in a double bill with GiTS 2 at a movie festival back in 2004.
So far, Kizu Pt. I + II, and The Wind Rises
Being a UKfag is suffering
The Wind Rises
I wish anime movie screenings were more common in America.
How can you look like a humongous faggot when watching a Monogatari movie on the big screen?
Hell, GuP had normal people in my audience when I watched it and only 6 people were in that theater.
Mine had like 10-12 people.
Bleach, maybe? This is a small city. We don't get anything but blockbusters.
I saw GuP today. Weird audience, of the 20~ people there, half were the 20-somethings you'd expect and half were 60+ year-olds.
>half were 60+ year-olds
They probably thought it was a WWII movie or something.
Huh, that was my last one too, except the Disney nostalgia hit me so hard I was literally in tears by the 7th minute.
You should've just spent your money in a better experience. Like paying for the Monogatari movie experience instead. It has intellectually moving pieces that really make you think. Also has the better quality sales overall.
>live in South Carolina
>tfw no theaters that play Anime movies
saw Spirited Away at a local theater pub around 2 months ago. was pretty fun, got to watch it with a buddy, it was both of our first times watching it. definitely plan on checking out Kimi ni no Wa next year.
New Godzilla this month, the only anime live action movie I watched since Dredd.
"O-oh but user, didnt you know you could just move closer to the front a-and ignore them haha..."
Where is this?!
Dredd anime when?
All of these. A pretty decent offering considering I'm in the UK.
I don't think I've ever watched even one anime movie in theaters. Heck, I don't even watch movies often; at most maybe twice a year.
pokemon the 1st movie
...
Naruto: The Last. Four times. One to enjoy it alone, one to record it, one to enjoy with a friend, and one to...I don't know.
Kaguya-hime in a hipster movie theater. Was great. Before that Madoka in a room full of weebs; wanted to kill myself halfway through
...
Is the movie dubbed in theaters?
One Piece
Tbh I'm not into wanpisu but all my crews went apeshit over it, so I figured why not.
Pretty enjoyable actually. Them late nite screening made it extra comfy
Akira. It was decent, but the cinema decided to play the dub instead of the sub as advertised. Going a little out of my way to watch the sub of Kimi no Na wa tonight, since again my local cinema decided it's going to be playing the dub.
I've never seen an anime movie in theaters, but I did go to the prescreening of the first episode of the Garo anime in theaters.
>tfw they only show gorrilion miles away in Bumfuck Nowhere, My State unless they're a Ghibli film
Does anybody drive far to see these movies?
Ever talk to the audience? Seems like a good place to meet people
Traveled 300 miles to see the first Kizu movie at the start of the year. Glad I didn't have to drive at least
>Traveled 300 miles
Goddamn, nigger. You must have been traveling all day
Worth it, right?
FMA conqueror of sham balls. Was dubbed;around whatever time the movie was new
Definitely. Some tripfag from the buyfag threads drove a bunch of us
Kizu Pt. 2. Would have loved to see GuP in theater but it was showing dubbed.
Actually question. To those that saw it what did they do with that Katyusha instrumental bit when Pravda showed up to the match? Was it tetris again or did they keep it in?
Last few movies I saw in theaters were Only Yesterday, Kizu pt 1, and Boy and the Beast. Can't remember what order, though.
Also, reminder to all burgers to catch Spirited Away in theaters on December 5th
>GUP
>adult
Kek class battleship
The Cat Returns in 2004.
I was pretty bummed out to find out that didn't show the new Godzilla here.
None because we only get Ghibli movies.
ohohohohoho I see you too are a man of culture
It was mediocre at best, don't try do deny it.
What movie is that?
one piece gold
>shit tier villain
>half assed plot
>good fights
>zoro is cucked
>over used joke
>lots of fan service
5/10
Never came to my area
