LVMPD said in a couple of their press conferences they would be returning phones and property of concert goers. After the phones were returned it was reported that all pictures and videos had been deleted from the devices.

So there might have been dozens maybe even hundreds of photos and videos that upon review would have shown us exactly what happened and where the shots came from. We will just never know, so we are left trying to sort through the stuff that was able to make it onto the internet.

my understanding is that the ballistics pretty conclusively put the shots as coming from the hotel. Is this really confirmed or are we assuming this?
