As an man who has had quite a few relationships I have to agree with you. They whole mgtow trend is very silly. The point is that a man should be able to find a good woman. That's part of the fun. The search. And then of course along the way you meet some bad ones and some good ones. You just discard the bad ones... it's as simple as that. When you meet a good one you work with her and you should get a vice versa response and if you don't well, you move on. The whole process is supposed to be nice fluid, natural process. Shutting women out of your life is unnatural and kind of stupid quite frankly. In other words, the search should continue and if you do find someone great, and if you don't you don't. But to just sit back and completely give up and say fuck it I'm going to go my own way. That kind of doesn't make any sense.
Having said all that, back in my era it was much easier to find a good woman because quite frankly the pool of good women was substantially larger per capita. Stupidity and degeneracy seems to have permeated a lot more of the female population now than ever before. And there is a massive amount of luck involved. Some men get lucky and some not quite so much.
