I don't know if it's true, but I once read someone that claimed to be an actuary state that doctors from foreign countries, and especially females from foreign countries have much higher rates of malpractice. Not the countries in the pic, I'm talking about India and shit like that obviously.

I guess the medical schools in those shit holes have much lower standards and you can actually bribe your way through if you fail a class.

Also regarding black doctors, the affirmative action for US medical schools is ridiculous. a GPA and MCAT that would give someone a 10% chance of admission if they were white, will get a black into medical school 90% of the time. I saw the actual numbers from the AMA and for that reason alone, I would never trust a "person of color" as my doctor.

What is it like becoming a doctor at the current time? What effect have immigrants had on this field?

I work in a hospital and around half of the hospitalists are foreign. I don't know if it's actually harder to become a doctor due to immigration, but no doubt there are way more foreign doctors practicing here than 20 years ago.

I would never see any doctor educated in the African continent much less most of the Middle East and Asia.

Basically, any country with high levels of corruption because someone in those countries could bribe their way into becoming doctors.

My rule is only countries with a high enough level of Nobel Prizes in STEM.

These doctors only come to America only because America pays doctors the highest salaries in the world.

Meanwhile, in their socialist countries, the average doctor pay is much lower than America

For example, I think UC San Fransisco outsourced all their IT shit to India and laid off all their native American IT staff so now American doctors have to complain by phone or email to people in Indian call centers.

What if your country has a heavily subsidised education system? It's free to put a foreign doctor into work, it probably costs millions to train one.

Well I was in hospital a few months ago for a rather harmless thing. They did some check-ups, and the ECG machine was suddenly warning that I might have had a heart attack. The doctor they called to look at it was from Russia I think, judging from the accent. I don't say he was incompetent but we needed like half an hour to discuss the situation because he could barely speak German and had a hard time to ask me about other symptoms. Took the guy minutes to explain that he wanted to know if I had trouble breathing, wtf? Turned out that everything is fine, but this issue could have been resolved in 2 minutes instead of 25 if he could speak proper German.
